Fashion over 50: More Summer Casual Sales

Hey there and welcome to another Fashion over 50. It seems that every other week I’m shopping and buying something new because the sales, they are incredible! So now I’m taking advantage of some of my favorite brands and buying on sale while it lasts. I’ve just done my yearly closet clean-out this week and so it’s feeling good in there and I’m going to try to keep it that way. It feels good to clear out what I’m not wearing anymore and get things a bit more organized.

Here are the links for all the above plus a couple of extras. J Crew continues to have great sales and marking things down as well as Banana Republic. I enjoy both these brands and when you can score things on sale, so much the better! I bought that blue and white tunic top above as well as a couple more things I’ll show you below. All these things are a good deal! Those purses are really cute too, I love the coral one.

J Crew has 70% off final clearance items still and Banana Republic has 40% off everything plus an extra 10% off if you buy a mask. Check these out for some cute summer styles (affiliate links):

I’ve bought a couple more things from J Crew because I couldn’t resist the sales!

We are going to the beach in September and I do not have a nice beach coverup, so I bought this one for $22 from J Crew (affiliate link)! I love the color and it will be a fun addition to my swimsuit wardrobe.

And thinking ahead to Fall and Winter, I couldn’t resist this casual sweatshirt pullover for just under $16. It will be so cute with white or denim jeans.

If you like Victoria Emerson jewelry, they are having a really fun bundle sale. 5 bracelets for $69. These are 3 of them and you can find the bundle deal here.

So that’s what I found this week. I enjoy sharing sales with all of you and these brands have consistently performed well for me in quality clothing. I tend to keep them for many years. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.

I don’t think I mentioned this to you all but Mark’s dad has been in the hospital, so please keep him in your prayers. He has had problems with his feet going numb and after his legs stopped working and he fell at home a couple of times, he went in the hospital and they found out he has a tumor on his spine which is cancerous. But the doctors say it’s the most treatable cancer there is so he has gone through 5 rounds of radiation last week and we are hoping that he will get into physical therapy this week so he can get up and start walking again. He’s been in the hospital 2 weeks on Thursday so the longer they are in bed, the harder it is to get up again. We went through this with my dad 3 years ago when he was sick with C-Diff. But he got up and was able to walk and get back to normal again. We are hopeful that Mark’s dad will recover and continue to live a long life. He told the doctors he wants to live to be 100, so we hope that happens!
