Fashion over 50: Red White & Blue

I don’t know about y’all, but I’m feeling mighty patriotic right now, so I thought I’d share some red, white and blue fashion inspiration today, since this is 4th of July week! I don’t have new clothes to share this week and have barely worn anything fun lately, so here are some fun fashion ideas for the Holiday week. I’m  not sure that any of us will be going to big celebrations this weekend, but even in the backyard we can celebrate July 4th! There are still lots of good sales going on.

I bought that red and white print dress from Old Navy (right bottom) and waiting for it to come in.

Here are all the clothes you see above, affiliate links used below. That red, white & blue floral dress that’s shown above (middle left) from Target that I shared a few weeks ago is still in stock if you missed it then. It’s a great summer dress!

I also bought this dress from Amazon after seeing it on some fashion blogger stories. It did come in red, but I don’t see that one now, so I got the yellow version.

I just got it in and did a mirror try on for you all and the verdict is I love it! It’s a great little summer dress and the material is soft and flowy. The colors are good on me with my skin tone and hair color.

It’s slightly drop waist and the bottom has a flouncy ruffle.

Here’s the Amazon link for it (affiliate link):

Hi Rhoda. Wondering how sheer the dress is; will you wear something under it? So many are so sheer they are best as swimsuit covers. Thanks.

HI, Dee, this one isn’t that sheer, I didn’t wear a slip or anything with it. But a simple half slip would be fine too, but I really don’t think it’s necessary.
