I’m heading to New Orleans today for a travel conference and I’m so excited to be a part of it. I went to the very first Southern Travelers Explore conference in Thomasville 6 years ago and really enjoyed it, so I’m going back again this year. When I heard it was in New Orleans, I knew that would be the perfect opportunity to attend and also see my family. So I’ll be spending a week there, 3 nights at the conference and 4 nights with my niece, Lauren. My sister, Renee, broke her femur about 5 weeks ago, so she’s been bed bound mostly recovering from her break. She’s getting around her house on a walker and will hopefully be able to walk on it soon. I’ll be checking on her while I’m there, so it will be a good trip. I’ll be sharing all the things I see on the travel conference too, as it will be concentrated in the river district and we will be seeing several plantations, which is right down my alley. No doubt, I’ll be eating some good food too!
Today, I’ve got a few fashion items from Talbot’s, Chico’s, and Loft to share. There are still lots of good sales going on! Talbot’s has all new pants and jeans for 25% for a limited time.

Amazon has really stepped up their clothing items and I’ve found some cute ones over there and these and more are all in my Amazon fashion shop. Several of these dresses are 100% cotton, which I like.
I ordered one of them and I’m going to be trying out more this spring. It’s nice to have lower price points to choose from and there are some great options on Amazon. This blue and white dress is very soft and comfy with an elastic waist. I ordered a Medium for extra room (it has pockets!), since some clothing there runs a little small. It’s only $17.99, so you can’t go wrong. I know I’ll enjoy it this summer either dressed up a bit or more casual. I would even wear sneakers with this dress.
I ended up ordering these pants when they went on deep sale and now most of the sizes are gone, but there are a few left if you’re interested. They are really cute leopard velvet pants from Loft. I’ll enjoy wearing them and I sized up to an 8, since I read they run a little small. Thanks for stopping by today!
