I find myself wearing dresses more and more in the summer months. They are cooler to me and beating the heat is a huge part of the summer months. Rhoda, I so enjoy your blog and I have followed you since the time you were leaving B’ham and moving back to Marietta. All the ads that pop up on your site now are making it almost impossible to read your content. Is there anything I can do to stop some of the ads? Please advise, as I really enjoy your posts.

HI, Joan, thank you for faithfully following me for so long. I do try to figure out what people are seeing when they talk about popups. I know that the phone is worse, since the screen is so small. Are you reading on a laptop, tablet or phone? That might make all the difference. I know some people install ad blockers, but I don’t know how those work exactly. I’m sorry it’s causing distress, when I open my blog on my laptop I don’t see any flying popups myself.
