Fashion over 50: Summer Fun with J. Jill & Chico’s

Can you believe it’s June 1st already? Summer is here! It’s tempting to add a few pieces to the wardrobe and if you love color, these are some fun finds. I gravitate towards blues and corals in my summer colors (they look good on me, what can I say?) so see if these catch your eye too. There are some neutrals and these are from J. Jill and Chico’s, both good quality shops. I see a lot I would love!

All the links are below, just click through the shopping widget (affiliate links):

I have 2 hummingbird feeders in our yard and both of them are that red plastic. It ended up getting so black with mildew (I don’t know why it does that!) and also the top is just a plastic piece for the loop. Both of those plastic loops broke, so I was on the lookout for a glass one and I found this on Amazon. The bottom part is plastic but it’s dark so shouldn’t get that ugly color that the red ones turn.

Here’s my Amazon shop if you want to browse. I’m always adding new things in there that I try.

All feeders will get black from mold buildup. Something to do with moisture, heat, humidity. They need to be cleaned every few days so the birds will stay healthy:)

It’s the outside of the plastic that turns so black on the red plastic ones I’ve had. I’ve scrubbed & it doesn’t come off, so I give up on those. I don’t let the inside get any mold.
