I’ve got a mixed bag of fashion things to show you today. First up, the family wedding of McKenzie and Patrick was last weekend and it was such a fun and festive occasion. We all got dressed up and enjoyed ourselves at the wedding held at Monteluce Winery in Dahlonega. I’m still going to blog the wedding, but I thought I’d show you what my dress looked like since I finally got to wear it. I felt really good in this dress and it was a great choice.
I showed this dress in detail on this post and it’s from eShakti in case you want more information.
The ceremony was held in the wine making area in the lower part of the winery with candles everywhere and the sun going down through the windows and the reception was upstairs in the big hall. It was beautiful! I’ll be sharing it all later, but here’s a peek and Mark and I in all our wedding finery. The dress from eShakti was beautiful. I love the polkadots on the chiffon overlay of the dress.
Here’s a look at my makeup. I just got a new iPhone 11 Max Pro and was having fun taking pics. This one has 3 cameras and I’m happy I upgraded, since I take most of my blog photos with my iPhone. I borrowed those blingy earrings from Lauren and kept my jewelry very simple.
I had a gold metallic on my toes and borrowed these black shoes from my sister and they worked out well with the dress.
I had a nosegay to wear on my wrist and the black velvet clutch was the perfect little purse to have at the wedding. I’ve linked this clutch from Nordstrom Rack at the bottom of the post.
I’ll share much more about the wedding as soon as I can and I will probably wait until McKenzie gets back some of the wedding photos so I can share those too, since I have limited snapshots with my phone.
Another find I wanted to share with you is a white faux fur vest. I’ve had this one for at least 3 years and haven’t seen another like it until I saw this shorter version at Target recently. If you like faux fur this one is a good look. I wore this outfit to Dahlonega for the wedding weekend. Gray jeans from Old Navy as well as the plaid flannel top. Shoes are Tom’s and I’ve had all these pieces for a couple of years.
Here’s a similar vest that’s shorter I spotted at Target recently:
Next up are several pieces I wore recently from Chico’s. I am really enjoying working with them and adding a few pieces to my wardrobe like these Holiday pieces. I adore these tone on tone cheetah pants. They have a little bit of sheen to them and you can see the embossing in certain light. These jeggings are form fitting without being too tight and they fit me well. I wore them out on a Christmas date night to a dinner and play and felt so good in this one.
Check out those pearls from Chico’s too, they have some pretty ones to choose from. These are blingy and sparkly and the one in the next pic is a long pearl strand with black accents.
The velvet jacket is gorgeous too and it’s embossed with a zebra print. I wore the jacket with my wedding attire dress, so it will be a very versatile jacket to have for the Holidays and more. Those shoes I’ve shared before and everything is linked below, affiliate links used. I paired the pants and jacket with a shimmery gold sleeveless top and also black, with the same shoes and a leopard print bag. These pieces are so versatile and look great for the Holidays!
I’ve got everything linked below in the widget, so check them out if you like what I’ve shown today. Most of this is from Chico’s. Unless things have changed from when I wrote this post a couple of days ago, Chico’s has 40% off most everything in their shop with code 93231.
What a good lookin’ couple! Just perfect. And I wanted to let you know I got my order from Grace & Heart jewelry and I absolutely love everything. Even better looking in person. I’ll be ordering again.
HI, Jane, thank you so much! I have so enjoyed my jewelry too and agree, it’s SO much prettier in person. Enjoy!
You both look stunning! The dress suits you perfectly and what is it about a man in a tux? So handsome. Looking forward to wedding pictures.
Thank you, Jan, I’ll share the wedding as soon as I get more photos from the day. I have a few on my phone, but she’s going to let me share more of hers as well.

Thank you, Cherry, that’s so sweet of you to say!
You look gorgeous in all of these outfits. That dress you wore to the wedding is just fabulous! Always enjoy your style. I’ve thought of getting a faux fur vest, but I tend to like sweaters more for warmth.
Thank you, Debbie, it was very fun getting dressed up!
Looking great! Please share some Mother of Bride and Groom pics too! I have 2 weddings coming up in the summer and fall.
I’m late to the party, but you and Mark look fabulous. That pic in which Mark is holding the wine glass is perfect for framing. You look gorgeous in all shots, as per usual.
Thank you, Jane, we sure had a fun wedding weekend!
Hi Rhoda,
You and Mark make a beautiful couple. Your dress was so pretty. Also, if men knew how great they look in a tux, they would wear them all the time.
