Fashion over 50: White Jeans Say Summer

Welcome to another Fashion over 50! It’s hot y’all! I know I say that a lot, but it’s really hot. We’re half way through the summer and the heat is just kicking up. Heat and humidity, which makes for some sticky outdoor weather. If I’m already sweating for the day I don’t mind being outside, but when I’m dressed in nice clothes, sweating is not my idea of fun, so indoors is the best choice.

White jeans are a staple for me and I’ve shared this pair many times before, Kut from the Cloth. I’ve had them probably 5 years and they are still in good shape.

I paired them with a blue and white print top I found at TJ Maxx recently. They have some great deals on tops and this one was less than $20. The brand is Daniel Rainn, which I had not heard of before.

The shoes are new, I mentioned them last week and I’m linking them at the bottom of the post. They are SO comfortable, the arch is slight since they are platform on the front and only about 2 1/2 inches tall. I love this sand color which will go with everything.

Here’s a look at the top. I wish I could link it but because it came from TJ Maxx, it is probably last season. That trim is pompom trim. I did find some other tops by this same brand and I’ll link those below.

I’m having fun doing fashion shoots around Acworth since we have some new buildings and architecture in our little town.

Here’s a look at the wedge shoes close up.

We were sporting around in Mark’s red Honda that day.

So that’s a look at this week’s outfit. I’ve got a few things linked below that are similar. I can’t find these exact jeans online anymore, but these are similar. The shoes are the same. Affiliate links used which means I earn a small commission if you buy through my links!

Love that top! I’ve gotten that brand from Stitch Fix.

Now that I am retired, I live in white jeans too! I have found several nice pairs on sale CHEAP at Lands End, you just have to watch for the sales. LE sells good quality, so I know they will last a long time. You look cool and summery in that top. LOVe Mark’s new car…color is coming back in cars too!

Sounds great, Roxanne, that’s a good brand too. Mark’s car is a couple years old, but he loves it!

I love those shoes! It looks like they are sold out in that color, but I have a similar pair of Clarks that I love! I wear my white jeans all the time in the spring-fall (as early/late as I feel I can get away with wearing white pants! I bought a pair at Belk at couple of years ago and loved them so much that I bought another pair when they went on sale. My office is pretty casual, so I wear them to work very often.

Hi, Kelly, the shoes are so comfortable. Mine are the Sand Nubuc color and they still have many sizes available and they are $10 less than what I paid for them, so a great deal!

Love the whole outfit – so crisp and fresh! The red car doesn’t hurt, either!

Love the outfit, but your hair steals the show. The natural curl is beautiful, you look so young and carefree!!

White is just a classic look and paired with blue it is an instant outfit. Try to stay cool, it is blistering here in NC also.
