Fashion over 60: Chico’s Summer Finds

I’ve got some fun summer finds to share with you today, mostly from Chico’s. I love working with Chico’s and have been for about 10 years. I love getting to choose a few new things from their new collections and today I have a few things that I love. These are all new pieces and are perfect for summer. I’ve got a couple more things to share at the bottom of the post too. I’ve added all these pieces in a link I’ll share under the Chico’s clothing. A big thank you to Chico’s for sending me these outfits to style! I sure do love them and will enjoy them all summer long.

This red dress is really pretty and the perfect shade of red. It feels like a polished cotton and is a nice cotton blend with lace trim at the bottom and along the top of the shoulders. Very eye catching!  I paired it with these Easy Spirit wedge shoes for a casual summer look. These shoes are no longer available, but I’ve linked a couple of similar pair.

This jewelry is Julie Vos and I’ll share it below too.

I really love this striped linen blend dress. So casual and cool for summer with a metallic gold thread running in the stripe. It even has a built in slip so you won’t have to worry about it being see-through! They thought of everything with this dress: pockets and a slip.

The perfect stay cool dress for summer and I love the darting detail that makes it a bit fitted, but definitely not tight. All of this jewelry is old so I can’t link it.

Next is this cute jersey knit navy and white floral dress. I can see this one being dressed up or down. It would be perfect to pack for a trip since it would roll up and not wrinkle. It skims over the hips and isn’t too tight fitting either. I love the gold buckle detail on one shoulder. I paired this with my navy Talbot’s pumps that are no longer available.

More Julie Vos jewelry which I love.

I bought these palazzo pants last year from my fellow blogger and friend, Brittany from Addison’s Wonderland shop. They are super comfortable and would be great for travel too. I thought this cute coral Chico’s top would go with them and it does match perfectly. It’s a cotton fabric, so perfect for summer. You can wear it in or out and I will probably wear it out as well for comfort.

This is a cute and casual look with sandals or even tennis shoes.

The coral color is so pretty and this is a Julie Vos necklace in Capri stone, but I don’t see that color on their website anymore, so it might be gone, but there are several blue shades that are beautiful too.

And my last share is this gorgeous pin from Chico’s, the seashell pin on my jacket. Isn’t that adorable? I love the colors and it’s perfect for summer. Add it to a jeans jacket for a little pizazz! It’s got great sparkle! You can find all these links at this Shop My link of my storefront there. Click over and you’ll see all the products I’ve shared. I get a size 0 in Chico’s in dresses and tops.

One more top I want to share with you is this Cherry Betty top. They have a website and are also sold on Amazon. I bought this one off Amazon and love it. It’s a cotton blend, the colors are so vivid and I got a Small. I love the double ruffle on the sleeve. It’s well made and so cute! There’s another color that’s more neutral with a bird on it and I will probably get that one too eventually, they are both so cute.

I will give you a disclaimer on this brand. I didn’t hear anything bad about it until after I bought this top. Then I looked up the brand and saw some bad reviews. I’m sure these are made in China pieces, but so many on Amazon are. Some were complaining that what they got looked nothing like the picture when they ordered directly from the brand site. I’ll just say this: I’m very happy with my purchase and would probably buy another one from them, but I’ll do it on Amazon and not their website. I do like good quality clothing, but I don’t mind some fast fashion here and there either. Most clothing is made overseas these days.

One more thing I ordered recently, these Adidas Samba tennis shoes. If you haven’t figured it out by now, I love shoes and especially fun casual tennis shoes and these fit the bill when I saw them. I went to a store and tried them on and then ordered online. They are very comfy too! That’s it for today! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you got some fun fashion ideas for yourself. It’s fun to add a few new things to the closet during summer months.
