Another brand new blogger to me has a beautiful site and a gorgeous home in New Mexico. Aedriel Moxley said she and her hubby bought the worst house on the best lot in 2008 and have been fixing it up ever since.  She is an artist and designer and is a really talented gal.  When I saw her renovated home, I thought it was definitely worthy of showing off. You have to see the Before shots!  Amazing renovation.  And Aedriel had a custom tabletop and ceramic business in 2008, but now does hand lettered home accents with some really fun products.
So, enjoy the tour of Aedriel’s pretty home in New Mexico. Â I don’t have a ton of after pics to share with you, but if you click that first link, it will show her whole home tour before and after.
These corner fireplaces are typical of that area.
Easy breezy decor style.
Master bedroom, calm and serene.
A renovated hallway, opened and widened.
They have 5 kids between them and some pretty neat spaces. Â Aedriel’s lettered artwork can be seen in many spots.
And her touch with accessories is beautiful as well.
Hope you enjoyed this little tour of Aedriel’s beautiful home in New Mexico.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Oh my goodness, if I see one more home with all white furniture and walls, a smattering of grey and dark hardwood floors I’m going to scream. Doesn’t anybody use color anymore? And 5 children live there? Where are they allowed to sit? Beautiful, but I’d love to see a shift in design to some more interesting, colorful decor.
Lighten up Karen, this is someone’s beautiful home! Try to appreciate all the hard work that goes into creating this lovely home.
Thank you so much, Joan. That means a lot. I love our home and I’m so grateful to have a place our whole family can relax in. 🙂
Aedriel, I’m sorry your feature garnered a negative comment like this. I usually try to monitor things, but Joan came along before I did and set things straight. We all have opinions and I don’t get why someone just doesn’t look and keep their opinions to themselves when they see something that doesn’t appeal to them. Of course, not everyone will like our homes and what we do, but they don’t have to verbalize it so negatively!
You’re so kind, Rhoda. Thank you and I totally agree. Besides, true character shows not in how we feel about stuff but how we deal with stuff. 🙂 Thanks again for such a flattering feature. Our little house is home to us!! 🙂
Thank you for your feedback, Karen. The awesome thing about our homes is we get to choose how to decorate and furnish them. And the best part? Our kids and dog can sit wherever they’d like to sit!! I have been a fan of white looong before it was trendy because with a little bleach the slipcovers and linens are super easy to keep clean. My husband and I have worked very hard on our home and the judgement about the choices we’ve made – well it just makes me sad that the internet has become such a negative place at times. Have a blessed day!
I should clarify for you Karen that only three kids live with us full time. 😉
I so love this home….just so beautiful!
Thanks so much, Shirley. 🙂
It’s truly beautiful, but it’s a bit antiseptic for me, I’m afraid . . .
Our house is a little over 1,800 square feet but so bright it never feels like it. Gosh! Never thought I’d have to defend the space we call home.
She has created a lovely, peaceful retreat for her large family. I’m a big fan of white with hints of color. I’m heading over to her blog now.
Thank you so much Joanne!!
Beautiful!
Thank you so much for taking the time to say something nice, Brenda. Big hugs to you!!
The whole house is beautiful, but that bedroom I could nap in there in an instant. Is so calming! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much, Dana!! I think our bedroom might be our favorite. 🙂
I bought some stunning personalized wedding gifts from her a few years ago but somehow lost track of her blog. So glad you shared this so I can follow her again!
What a small world, Kristin!! I’m so glad we found each other again. 🙂 Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for this feature!!! I tried all weekend to get it to load and finally this morning made it happen. You’re so kind and I appreciate all the sweet and supportive comments too.
What a lovely feature. I am so happy to see you sharing real life homes that not only are lived in but lived in by such wonderful people. I am a personal friend of Aedriel and not only is she an incredibly talented artist, she is amazing at interior design and she is one of the kindest souls (who would never bash someone else’s style or home). I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, it just saddens me to see hurtful words on someone else’s pride and joy. I too have an all white home and it’s not because of trending styles it’s because I love to add color in with furniture and art, and it also brightens up our home. 🙂 anyways, big hugs to the uplifting people here, keep on spreading love friends! Xo
Thanks for all the love, Susan. I’m so glad to have such supportive friends like you. And I totally agree about changing out color in accessories whenever we feel like it because of having neutral aspects that aren’t quick to swap out like paint color. You such a sweetheart!!! Thanks for taking the time to pop in and say something nice. I admire YOUR talent more than you know!! 🙂
Aedriel…I Love your beautiful home! I follow you on IG & drool every time you post a pic of your home. It’s so bright & beautiful. I am someone who has loved white forever. White is actually easier to keep clean like you said…and goes with every holiday and occasion. I thought you bought it that way so I am super impressed with the transformation. I love your artwork & wish I knew how you got started. You’re my favorite artist on IG! Love everything!
