My blog friend, Brooke, from All Things Thrifty is a busy blogging mama of 4 and lives in Utah, where she has been creatively making her house into a vintage modern haven for her family. Brooke loves a good DIY project and you’ll see many of those in these pics.  Her style is happy, colorful, modern and geometric, so enjoy the tour of Brooke’s home.

living room

Her living room has lots of vibrant colors and textures.  Brooke is always doing a DIY project and showing it off.

All Things Thrifty

Like this stenciled wall and painted dresser.

floral loveseat

Brooke loves vibrant colors and patterns and it just brings her home alive.

kitchen and family room

Moving on to the kitchen, Brooke has personalized it with lots of color and texture.

kitchen

She made it all her own with paint and creative ideas.

quatrefoil

This quatrefoil art is a nice focal point on the wall.

mirror

She probably made this mirror as well.

headboard wall

Brooke’s DIY headboard has been all over blogland.  I know it’s individually upholstered squares all put together and it really makes a statement.

master

Her colors are so pretty too.

girls room

Her girl’s room has been newly redecorated with DIY headboards and these are adorable.

stenciled floor[3]

She even helped out a friend of hers by painting the floor in her foyer.  Now that’s a good friend!

piano refinishing 3

Brooke does a lot of paint projects and even the piano isn’t safe from her paint techniques.

backyard

Outdoors in Brooke’s backyard.

She must have painted this on the brick wall too.  The girl is a painting dynamo and stencil queen.

Hope you enjoyed seeing pops of color and lots of graphic stencils that Brooke enjoys using.  She’s personalized her space to make it happy for her family and loves decorating.

Brooke is a very popular blogger and has many fans following her DIY blog, All Things Thrifty!

Rhoda, so glad to see Brooke featured here. Her blog is one of my favorites. I am impressed with her skills especially with upholstery and even handcutting her own stencils. She is truly a DIY dynamo.

As always, a fun ‘peek’ into yet another lovely home! I just painted our piano, so that one really caught my eye. Maybe we should have a ‘piano paint off”. 😉

I love Brooke’s blog and have been following her for while, but I somehow missed the stenciled fence. Love that. She always has the most colorful and cheery decor.

Thank-you for showing such a colorful house! I feel that so many houses I see online have very white and light colored decor. They are lovely to look at, but I love to see more variety!
