One of my bloggy friends, who I’ve never met,  but consider a friend, Amanda Carol, lives in Texas and the girl has some great style.  I love all the projects she does as a decorator and her own home is so pretty and charming, I had to show it off!

If you haven’t stopped by her blog before, you’re in for a treat.

Amanda Living room

She loves shades of blue, mixed with brown and the overall feel is light and airy.  Her living room is cozy and spacious.

AC living room

She does a great job of accessorizing and bringing in some fun items to complete her spaces.

AC living to dining

Looking from the living room to the dining room.

AC dining room

Dining room is beautifully done.

dining room

I love how she uses accessories with care, not too many or too little.

AC kitchen

She’s gone black in the kitchen on the cabinets and with yellow walls, it is still bright and light.

kitchen

Very pretty.

island kitchen

Welcoming and ready for company island.

AC master bedroom

The master bedroom is also in shades of blues and creams.

bedside table

Mirrored side tables are a great accent in here.

AC office

Her office space is very fun and funky with a little hot pink thrown in.

office space console

This is a stencil project she did on a plain dresser from Ikea and added this fretwork in gold.  You can read all about that project here and it is a great makeover!  From plain to glam.

craft room

Her craft space is also pretty and glam.

craft room 3

Those yellow drapery panels add so much pizazz to her space.

craft room 2

Amanda is super talented and does some great DIY stuff, a girl after my own heart.

laundry room

Even her laundry room is cute and stylish!

I know you enjoyed this home tour from this Texas decorator as much as I did!

Go over and say hello to Amanda and tell her I sent ya!

The Patio Covers winner is posted over there!

Thanks for sharing Rhoda – such a beautiful home. Would you happen to know the color of blue she used? I am not a blue person but this looks so great. Thanks for sharing if you know the color.

Amanda pays such special attention to detail in her home. I can tell she loves her home and has made it a warm and inviting place for her family. I love how light and bright it feels. Her desk is one of my favorite pieces! Great choice for a desk, just a touch of glam!! Happy Saturday,
