Feature Friday: Citrine Living

Welcome to another Feature Friday!  Another newish blogger I’ve met on Instagram and at Haven this year is Tamara from Citrine Living.  She’s a stylish mom who lives in Canada and has a beautiful modern traditional home.  You’ll find loads of great ideas in her home tour and it’s a mix of regular decorating and her Fall home tour decor.  So pretty and stylish!  There truly are so many beautiful styles of decor in blogland and Tamara’s is fresh, clean and pretty, with a sprinkle of color throughout (she loves blue and white!), creating a modern, yet classic vibe.

Here’s a little about Tamara from her bio:

Tamara Anka of CitrineLiving is a Graphic Designer by trade who, over the last 20 years has developed and honed her eye for design across multiple disciplines such as branding, illustration, decorating and more. Working in fashion retail marketing as a Designer and Creative Director, as well as having a discerning eye for detail, Tamara has developed her skill set and applies them to her design business as well as decorating her own home. Her blog, CitrineLiving.com, which started out as a creative outlet, has quickly become a destination of inspiration for many – from tablescapes, to decor, to entertaining and DIY’s, visitors are sure to find the ideas that they’re looking for, and may even be surprised by Tamara’s unique approach. She has quickly gained a following on Instagram and has carved out a niche as one who’s not shy to try bold pattern mixing or use color in unexpected ways. Her sense of style as well as her outlook on design and decorating are what her readers are drawn to, as well as her candid and genuine personality, which also keeps them coming back for more.

The exterior of her home is just stunning, so pretty with the mix of stone, siding and shingles. I’m not going to talk through this one either, so enjoy all the gorgeous photos!  She decorated for Fall in a pretty, but simple way, so take note of that too.

Hi Rhoda, thanks for highlighting another wonderful blog. I enjoy quite a few because of your highlights. It sure was fun to meet you at Round Top! You are so sweet on your blog but even sweeter in person. Can’t wait to see what you bought. The next day I did buy a small scale with weights that I just love.

HI, Anne, thanks for saying hello! I always love running into readers and getting to chat. You are all so sweet to follow along on my blog and I love that you are out there. Round Top was so fun and exhausting! I did buy a few things and can’t wait to get them all home. Our hostess had a truck out there for her store and we all got to add our purchases on there too, so I don’t even have them home yet.

This post couldn’t have come at a better time. I have been looking for a console table for my living room. I love her use of a buffet instead. When I move and downsize in a few years, I will probably need the storage a buffet will provide. Thanks!

Carol, I couldn’t be more excited to hear that you found something useful for your own home! We have a small home, and having our buffet here is so handy for all of the storage it provides. So happy you like it! xo

Wow, so many elements of style which I have duplicated in my own home, for instance the love of blue and white pottery and venetian glass, but yours is put together so much more beautifully! Truly inspirational!!

Hi! I adore your style! Can you PLEASE tell me the brand/ or name of the blue white duvet? Also, the brand for the navy and white rug in the dining room? Thank you and be blessed!

HI, Melinda, this is a feature post I did on Tamara’s home, so you will need to go to her blog to ask these questions. She won’t see them here.
