Feature Friday: Classic Casual Home

It’s been 10 years since I found Mary Ann’s beautiful blog, Classic Casual Home, but when I clicked over and saw her gorgeous home, I fell in love. She was living in a Newport Beach cottage home then, but has since moved to a 1920’s high rise in San Francisco with a Beaux Arts feel. You’re going to love it!

She has a gorgeous view of San Francisco Bay from her windows now and it’s just stunning. Mary Ann also does design work for others.

What a view!

Mary Ann has a classic timeless style with a mix of Traditional and vintage finds, all put together with such style. I know you’ll love her look.

As her blog name says, it’s a Classic casual home and oozes elegance and style.

Mary Ann is great at styling her fireplace, here are a couple of looks for the seasons. I have a very similar mirror so she has given me great ideas to do with it.

Again, with the view.

Dining area with a mix of white and natural.

Can you imagine the sunsets from this window?

Galley kitchen.

Views from all windows.

Master bedroom

Guest room

Mary Ann’s small office, but with a beautiful view.

I hope you enjoyed this new look at Mary Ann’s current home. If you’re not following her at Classic Casual Home, you will really enjoy her a lot. She’s an over 50 blogger like myself and has great taste in clothing and home decor.

Rhoda, Maryanne’s home is stunning, it looks so small from the front but it’s huge inside!

Her home is lovely. I really like how she has done her son’s room, very pretty but also suitable for a young man.

I discovered Mary Ann’s blog right after I started blogging. Her kitchen has many of the features that I’d like in a future renovation for our house. Have a great time in the mountains this weekend!

I love it! It reminds me of the old Hollywood style bungalows, with that big arch dividing off the dining room, the black granite on the fireplace, and the checkerboard tile in the master bath… Speaking of the master bath, the cabinet placed on top of the counter is genius!

Rhoda: Thanks so much for featuring our home. I had to laugh about the “water view” part…well, we DO have one but it is just if you are standing on our front steps and looking to the right. 🙂
    Have fun in the mountains!

What a terrific space. I love that all white look but I’m just too addicted to colour to take the plunge.

Couldn’t you just dive into that guest bed and stay for a few days?

I love that style. Seems so effortless, but it would take me a lifetime to put it together like that – if every! I think the kitchen is fabulous!

What a lovely home. For some reason I just love the staircase. I would love to pull up my carpet and replace with wood risers. Thanks for sharing.

Totally gorgeous and yes very swoon worthy!! I love her beauitful, elegant but effortless and inviting style. I love in the first picture the dark woods next to the light and airy…beautiful combination ala Oscar de la Renta (always reminds me of his uber gorgeeous Dominican Republic home) Just stunning!
