Hi, friends and Happy Friday to you all! I’m back with Feature Friday today and have a new to me blogger, Rachel with Craving Some Creativity. She and her hubby bought a fixer upper house in 2014 outside Washington, DC and have been making it over, so you’ll see some budget friendly ideas on her blog and lots of good before and after photos. It’s always inspiring to see what everyone does to update their spaces and I appreciate a good Before and After on a budget.
I love the color of her front door, very welcoming and vivid too.
A foyer table with gallery wall welcomes guests.
Overview of her family room makeover with lots of projects completed.
They opted not to paint their cabinets, but refreshed with new countertops and backsplash, along with faux stone on the island.
Nice combo of countertops and backsplash.
Rachel did an update on her dining room too and it looks very pretty in this fresh green color with white upholstery. I love those bird prints too!

And here’s another fun makeover in the bathroom, with new tile inside the tub and floors, as well as painting the existing cabinet and adding new countertops and hardware. Love the light fixtures and those mirrors are pretty too.
It’s a very fresh and updated bathroom with these pretty colors.
I love looking at laundry rooms too since I have one to make over and adding cabinets is always a good idea.
She took the door off a small closet and made shelves for laundry baskets to help with sorting. And backed it with wallpaper, I think. Makes it pretty!
Another fun makeover in her husband’s manly office looks really nice.
Rachel shares all the how-to’s on her blog, so stop on over for more information.
I just love an organized space and craft room although I’m not nearly as organized as this, but having pegboards and everything in it’s place is a good thing.
Such a cute pegboard with hardware from Ikea to keep things looking good.
And another pretty and organized wall shelf space with a place for everything in her craft area.
These sorts of things inspire me to get busy on my own spaces and get them organized and looking pretty. It’s fun to do both, isn’t it? Stop on over and meet Rachel and check out her blog, Craving Some Creativity.
Enjoy your weekend!
I tried to comment on your blog yesterday – but every time I clicked on the “leave a comment” link it launched some kind of glitch that made the page reload on previous Feature Friday pics. This morning seems to be okay.
Beautiful home with many personal touches. I have to say I got anxious looking at all those well organized crafts… paints, paper, stamp pads, ribbon, sharpie markers etc… I am totally NOT crafty and I feel a bit itchy or inadequate when I see evidence of such talent. LOL
Stay warm in ATL – for all you Yankee readers who are laughing at us – we are freezing down here in the Sunny South!
Hey, Becky, I know there was a glitch with the page yesterday and I had to fix it but it I think it messed everyone up from seeing this post. I agree on perfectly organized craft rooms, I’m not there either! It sure is freezing down here!! Makes me just want to cocoon and stay inside and be lazy.
