Feature Friday: Darling Do

Happy Friday, my friends!  It’s that day again, time for another Feature Friday. I hope you enjoy these because it’s really fun for me to keep finding new blogs and homes to feature.  There is so much talent out there that it blows my mind sometimes how adorable these young women are in making their homes so pretty and, yes darling….like today’s feature, Astleigh with Darling Do.

Astleigh (not a typo, I had to keep fixing it) is the blogger behind the blog, a young mama with a cute little darling girl of her own. She and her hubby live in the mountains of Virginia and are fixing up their home one room at a time and I think you’ll enjoy her understated, casual decor and how she puts it all together.

I’m not going to do lots of talking, but enjoy Ashleigh’s home decorated for Fall and a few pics from earlier seasons.  She’s done a wonderful job with her home, making it feel very welcoming and casual at the same time.  Love her use of wallpaper, so check that out!

What a pretty dining room and love the wallpaper in here as well.

Love those framed botanicals.

And this darling nursery, isn’t it so cute?  What a little doll in the crib!

What a sweet tour of Astleigh’s home, I hope you enjoyed Darling Do’s tour and go by and get to know Astleigh. Looks like she’s a busy mama and has lots of fun things going on.  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

What a pretty home! Love her choice of neutrals. I like seeing black and white used; it’s such a fresh look. That entry wallpaper is beautiful. I also like the simplicity of not looking like every single space has to have something in it. Wish I could make myself do that more and pare out some of my “stuff”!

Me too, Nanci, I’m going to try to do more simple in my new house. It’s hard to do, isn’t it?!

Loved her style. My only concern was the framed pictures over the crib. I remember when my children were born it was advised not to hang anything over the crib that a child could pull down and hurt themselves.

Are you having a problem with your blog? It still opens to October 6th and there have been no updates on it since then. Your instagram is working and updating regularly but your blog isn’t.

HI, Judy, no I’m not having any problems. Are you visiting live on the blog and you can’t see the new posts? I have a new one up today and have been blogging at least 4 per week this month, so see if you can see them.

No I still can’t see anything from October 6th on and I have been following your for many years. I have you bookmarked and even tried going in again on the web rather then my bookmark. I see your instagram but not your blog. Any suggestions?

Hi, Judy, I have no idea what that is about unless it’s your browser and an issue there. Can you open another browser and try it that way, directly to my site? Wondered if you clear your cache if that would help? I recently changed host services and it might have been about that time, so maybe it’s your browser cache that is taking you there.
