Meet Amanda, from Dixie Delights. She is a mom to two cute boys and lives in the Atlanta area in a late 60’s house, which when you see it, you won’t believe it is a 60’s house at all.
Here’s what Amanda says about her family:
A few years ago my husband and I returned to the Atlanta neighborhood he grew up in to raise our own boys. Our home is forty-four years old and was love at first sight – we call it our “forever home”. We’ve spent the last three years making it our own. He finished our entire basement by himself, watching YouTube videos and reading how-tos, while I taught myself to sew drapes, skirt tables and upholster chairs. Hailing from Savannah, I adore all things coastal and have used colors reminiscent of the marsh and beach I grew up on throughout our home.
This week, I’m not going to add a lot of words, but just enjoy Amanda’s beautiful Southern home.
Wasn’t that a fun tour? I know you will enjoy visiting Amanda’s blog, so pop over and say hello to her and happy Friday to all of you!

Lovely home! I pinned a couple of photos!
I’m loving her general colour palette, but most especially the exterior choices. Her kitchen with those stunning ivory cabinets and the entire Master Bedroom are also really beautiful.
