Happy Friday, friends! It’s been a busy week for me this week, but a good one. I’m finally feeling back to normal after our cruise. Amazing how overseas travel knocks your body for a loop, but it sure does. I’m going to try to get a cruise post out early next week, but if I don’t it will be soon, I promise. I want to be sure I cover all I need to share with you all and I took so many pictures.
Today’s Feature Friday is a repeat, but you probably won’t recognize the house as it’s changed a lot since 2012 when I first featured Laura with Duke Manor Farm. Her blog name was even different back then and she’s done a lot of updates to her 16 year old home since then. She and her husband built their house out in the country north of Atlanta. They have 3 children that they are raising with a few farm animals and a lot of peace and quiet.
I’ve had the pleasure of going to Laura’s house in person and so enjoyed seeing it all a few years ago. It’s a Cape Cod style with shingles and she updated the exterior paint colors not too long ago and it’s really fresh and pretty.
I love Laura’s house, it’s so pretty and inviting from the driveway. They have several acres of property and really enjoy their country living life.
Isn’t this gorgeous?
Laura painted the exterior since the last time I featured her and I love this soft blue gray with the stone.
Her stone front porch is such a nice spot for seating.
She’s changed it up a few times over different seasons, but it’s always pretty.
Looking back towards the driveway.
There are all sorts of critters on Laura’s piece of paradise, including dogs and cats.
Goats and donkeys.
And horses.
Hallway coming in with storage.
Laura made her keeping area off the kitchen into her dining space.
And one of her projects done in the last few years is painting her stained kitchen cabinets white with a blue island. Turned out so pretty!
I didn’t realize how similar our island colors are, but we both like blue.
The family room is where they spend a lot of time.
She’s done some updates out there too.
Love the blue and white chairs.
She turned her dining room into a music room with the Grand piano.
Master bedroom.
Laundry space
Laura’s new office space is so pretty in blues.
I love what she did in there.
Guest room is cozy and neutral.
Her daughter’s bedroom is very pretty in pink.
Love this guest bath renovation.
They have a gorgeous screen porch too and I love this space.
One of the coolest projects they’ve completed in the last few years is adding a pool in the backyard.
The grand finale swimming pool is the icing on the cake! I know they are enjoying their little slice of heaven in the North Georgia countryside. It’s a beautiful place and I’m know you’d enjoy getting to know Laura too, if you haven’t met her already. Stop over to Duke Manor Farm and say hi! Laura is a sweetheart!
thanks so much for sharing Duke Manor Farm. You need to come float in the pool with me one day this summer!
Laura, you know I would love that! I wish you were closer and the traffic wasn’t so bad!
I loved seeing Laura’s beautiful home featured! She is one of my favorites!

Laura’s home, her property, her pool and patio areas, her barn, her chicken coop, her family are all so beautiful!!…and so is she!!!
I’m a sucker for tiny yellow kittens and houses full of blue! So I love, love, love this!! I would like to know if Laura painted the blue triple dresser in her office, and if so what she used. I’ve been thinking about doing something similar in our bedroom.
Hi, Roxanne, I’m pretty sure she did paint it and I think she has a post about it on her blog.
Loved this tour. She was my mentor at the last Haven! She’s so nice and helpful. Thanks for sharing!
