Today’s Feature Friday is young mom and blogger, Bethany, who blogs at Dwellings by DeVore. She is from the Charlotte, NC area and decorates in a fresh and modern way.  Enjoy her home tour!  She has recently moved into a new home and doesn’t have it home tour ready yet, so this is her previous home.

entry

Entry way welcomes guests in style.

living room

Her living room is soothing in neutrals.

living room2

Painting a piece of furniture for a sofa table is a great idea.

dining room

The dining room, also in neutrals.  Love that lighting!

breakfast nook

With a mix of modern and rustic, the breakfast nook with striped walls is cozy.

master bedroom

Master bedroom with shades of gray, yellow and white.

master side table

More repurposed painted furniture.  Great way to furnish a space for less.

master bath

Master bathroom.

nursery 4

And the sweet and cozy nursery space.

nursery 3

More shades of yellow, gray and black.

nursery 2

Love the striped yellow and white ceiling.

nursery

And she added a daybed for extra sleeping space.

guest bath

These young bloggers are not afraid of color and painting dark walls.  Coral and black pop in the guest bath.

guest bath 2

Dark walls and coastal artwork.

powder bath

Again, in the powder bath, striped black and white walls add pizazz to this small space.

powder bath2

I do enjoy stripes myself.

office

Calming and girly office space.

office desk

office cabinet

Another painted piece, this china cabinet gets new life in the office.

Bethany has just completed an outdoor project with Home Depot and now has a lovely patio to enjoy.

Love this outdoor living area.

A beautiful outdoor fireplace with succulents above adds just the right garden touch.

Striped cushions and a beautifully set table makes this space ready for outdoor entertaining.

Enjoy Bethany’s home tour and hope you got inspired to make the most of your outdoor living.

There’s so much I like about this home – too many things to list. But I must comment on the black, white and shades of brown combination – I LOVE it! It allows for pops of color or not. Perfection!

She has a great eye for color. Wish I had the courage to paint some of my older cherry and mahogany pieces, but just cannot put paint on that pretty wood.

I love so many things about this home…but the yellow and white striped nursery ceiling may have been my favorite….so unexpected and so beautiful! Thanks for sharing so many beautiful homes.

Very dramatic home! She is really skilled in mixing all the bold colors together without it feeling overwhelming. Love
the way she did the master bedroom!

I love the way she is so resourceful in using thrift store pieces and new things together! She is a talented decorator with all the pops of color . Although trendy, her house is very pretty and at the same time-very liveable!!
