I love discovering new to me blogs and I just discovered Laura at Finding Home right around Christmas.  Wow, is Laura’s home beautiful!  She’s a decorator, a wife and mama and all around talented lady.  When you see these pics, you will totally agree with me.  The girl has style, class, and taste in abundance.

What a cute family!

So, come along for another beautiful home tour.  You will not be disappointed with this real life home and if you are dying to see more, you can view lots more pics at Laura’s Home Tour page.

A beautiful entry way as you come inside the door.  Check out those gorgeous hardwoods.

Livingroomentry_thumb

Laura has a great mix of vintage and traditional modern.  Notice the sign above the door.

FindingHomeBookCaseLeftSide_thumb

A wall of bookcases in the living room hold lots of books and art pieces.

This is a cozy space and I love that wallpaper on the walls too.

Dining room with table and buffet.

FindingHomeDiningRoom8_thumb

Laura is a girl after my own heart and collects white pottery pieces.

FindingHomeFamilyRoom1_thumb

Family room with armoire and fireplace, right next to the kitchen. Check out all the details, there are many good ones.

FindingHomeFamilyRoom11_thumb

Like this little side table with interesting vignettes.

FindingHomeFamilyRoom7_thumb

Pretty room in neutrals with a little color.

FindingHomeKitchen25_thumb

Prepare to be wow’d by this magnificent kitchen.  This is definitely a dream kitchen and I think Laura has posts about the renovation on her blog.

FindingHomeKitchen7_thumb

Wouldn’t you love a kitchen like this?   Yes, yes I would!

FindingHomeKitchen28_thumb

A pretty corner vignette.

FindingHomeKitchen29_thumb

Beautiful tiered stand in the kitchen holds essentials.

adjustedwindow_thumb

What a beautiful sink and window.

FindingHomeKitchen1_thumb

Family room to breakfast table.

FindingHomeGuestBedroom1_thumb

The guestroom is pretty and cozy too. I can see Laura loves antiques as much as I do.  Mixing it all is an art and she does it well.

FindingHomeGuestbedroom2_thumb

I love this wall above the bed.

FindingHomeGuestBedroom8_thumb

Isn’t this a pretty room?

FindingHomeMaster1_thumb

The master bedroom is a nice mix as well.

FindingHomeMaster4_thumb

How about that turquoise painted bed.  Laura got in on some painting.

FindingHomeMasterBath7_thumb

The master bathroom.

Daughter’s colorful room.

Desk and wall art.

FindingHomeBasement8_thumb

They even have a wonderful finished basement that is very eclectic.

FindingHomeBasement10_thumb

How cute is this shelf?

FindingHomeMudroom10_thumb

A mudroom completes the tour.  You can see I had a hard time paring down the photos from Laura’s house, so I shared as much as I could.  I hope you’ll go over and say hello to Laura and meet this talented lady.

Laura says it well on her blog:

Through my design business and through our own experiences, I have found we are trying to accomplish one thing. We are all searching, we are all FINDING HOME.

I love this house and will probably be “pinning” some of these pictures to my Pinterest boards. This is really silly but one of my favorite rooms is that mudroom…love all the organization. Wish I had had one of those when my kiddos were little!!

Your home is lovely and it looks so warm and cozy..one that anybody would feel comfortable in. I love it! You see pictures of some houses that are so elegant but you’d be afraid to even sit down in them. You feel like telling yourself “Stand still, don’t touch!” but not yours. Your house says ” Welcome! Come in and let’s have some tea. Or “How about a glass of Ice tea or a cup of coffee?”

I love so many of your accessories and so many things I saw in the pictures have inspired me. Thank You for the house tour. Now if I can’t only convince my DH of the changes I’d like to make. We have always done our own remodeling, painting and wallpapering, but he can’t do the physical work anymore; all he sees is $ signs when I talk about making changes. Guess I’ll just have to keep looking at your photos when I get down in the dumps!

What a beautiful home…I normally don’t like wallpaper, but I loved the wallpaper patterns in her home. Do you happen to know where she got her wallpaper? Love her guest room!

    Hi Rhoda,

It’s been a while since I’ve stopped by your blog. We were in the same online photography class together a few summers ago. Hope you’re still having fun practicing. The house tour you shared is stunning!!! I have followed her blog for a while, but didn’t realize how gorgeous her home was! I’m very inspired.

I’m revealing a new blog design this weekend and I’d love it if you’d stop by on Sunday to see how it looks!
