Happy May 1st!
I’m back today with another Feature Friday for you, meet Freckles Chick, a very humorous blogger from Colorado, who bought a fixer upper house with her hubby in 2007 and they’ve been renovating and fixing up since then. Â In the meantime, she’s had a baby girl and that has changed everything. Come along for a tour of their really cute home!
I love how inviting the front entry way is now, after lots of work on the exterior of the house. Just lovely!
A peek inside at the mudroom, which also looks welcoming.
With a modern style, this clean and casual living room looks like a cozy spot to sit.
She’s got a mix of neutrals and textures going on.
A rustic table paired with a set of upholstered chairs and even acrylic chairs added to the mix, make for a very eclectic space. Â That traditional lantern is nice too.
Their master bedroom has neutral and calming linens for a wonderful space to chill out.
This chair was a DIY makeover and looks great in this corner.
The main bathroom got a facelift with new tile and a clean look.
Beautiful dark stained vanity is the focal point.
Their kitchen is very tiny, but they have made use of all the space.
Adding Ikea shelves over the stove helps with storage things right at eye level. Â Handy and convenient.
Chalk pens and chalkboard labels keep things organized as well.
The sink side looks pretty with the marble subway tile backsplash.
The guest bath got a facelift too with new tile and pedestal sink.
A row of colored glass tile adds an accent in the tub/shower.
Their baby girl’s nursery is also an adorable and cozy space.
These poufs are so cute in a space like this. Â No hard edges for a baby to get hurt on.
The little girl is growing up with her own playroom. Â So fun and colorful!
And mama, the blogger has her own cozy office nook space.
Their deck has a happy vibe, ready for entertaining during summer months in the great outdoors.
Nothing prettier than annuals blooming nearby.
I love these hanging glass orbs holding candles. Â I’m sure these can be used for hanging plants too, but this is a great idea for added ambience.
Hope you enjoyed this pretty home tour and you’ll stop over and say hello to Freckles Chick!
So pretty! I would love to know the paint colors she used!
Thanks so much, Tina! I just updated my house tour page with paint colors. Thanks for the reminder!
I loved everything about this home, the precious little girls room, the entry, the different textures in the dining room. I tried to post on this before and had a problem with the comment link loading…
Many thanks for your kind words, Mary!! 🙂
Aw shucks, you’re too kind for featuring our home! What an honor. Thanks a million for having me, Rhoda!!
