Feature Friday: Haneen’s Haven

Back today with another new Feature Friday, let me introduce you to blogger, Haneen, from Haneen’s Haven.  I saw her on Instagram and found out she had started a blog and wanted to share her beautiful home tour with you all. I love seeing all the different decorating styles out there on the internet.  It’s fun to see how we all interpret “home” and how to make it our own haven, as Haneen has done for her family.

With a degree in art, Haneen is not afraid of color and embraces lots of color, pattern, and texture in her home, mixing old and new to create an eclectic and livable space. And she’s mom to 4 children, so this house is kid friendly too.

Coming in the front door, she added a stenciled wall to her entryway.

Her living room is also stenciled with bold chocolate brown 2 tone.

I love the gold mirrors agains this wall.

Family room with lots of color as well.

Her office space is a saturated blue with geometrics and a Persian type rug in there.

Check out that gold dipped cabinet in a pretty chartreuse.

The only room she’s gone neutral is her master bedroom, all in tones of black, gray, and white.

She has 2 daughters who share this colorful and fun space.

And a tween girl is in this room with the pretty polkadot walls.

This masculine nursery is the cutest thing with the reclaimed wood wall and navy and white rug.

A mudroom was created in a closet off the garage, making it a mudroom of sorts.  Pretty and practical!

Hope you enjoyed this edition of Feature Friday and Haneen’s Haven!

I love being surrounded by color, and this beautiful house makes my heart sing! Rhoda, I think the rug in her study may be Morroccan. My husband’s family was stationed in French Morrocco (Navy) when he was a teenager in the 1960s. They brought home beautiful, antique Morroccan rugs of similar design and color which still decorate my amazing 91 y.o. Mother-in-law’s house. My hubby just turned 70, so now he and the rugs are antiques! (says his young 63 y.o. wife!)

I’m always so impressed when people use so much bold color in their homes – it looks amazing and so lively! I have a huge crush on navy walls, but not sure where/if I could pull it off. Thanks for sharing this great inspiration!

With all the bold color everywhere in the house, I was so surprised to see the master done in black, grey and white!!! So cold looking in my opinion.
