Feature Friday: House Seven

Today’s Feature Friday is another new to me blogger, House Seven.  Married and a mama to 3, her blog is aptly named that as this is the 7th house she and her hubby have moved into and lived in during their marriage.  She has a beautiful and charming farmhouse style, so if that is your thing, you will love what Anissa has done to her 7th house.

exterior

From the charming Craftsman style exterior, it’s a welcome front entry.

entry

Inside the front door, a beautiful foyer table greets guests and notice the board and batten on the walls.  Great way to add charm and architectural interest.

stairs

Anissa has a way with decorating and accessorizing and it is so very appealing to me.

family room sofa table

She does the white slip covered look well, along with a farmhouse charm of planked walls and textured accessories.

family room sofa

Looks so inviting and welcoming.

bookshelves

She’s got lots of pretty white pieces on her built in bookshelves.

family room

Looks like a cozy family room to hang out in.

kitchen table

I love this kitchen table and slipcovered chairs. That table has a beautiful color to the wood, which I think she stripped down from paint.  Love the lighting too.

kitchen 5

White cabinets and black countertops are a winning combo.

dining room barn door

Let’s step through the sliding barn door to the dining room, featuring a chunky farmhouse weathered table and chairs.

dining table and barn door

What a lovely room this is.  That barn door is definitely the star.

powder roomGray and white stripes in the powder room add a bold accent.

master bedroom 2

She has just completed a pretty makeover in her master bedroom and it’s full of charm, texture and some color.

master bedroom

Notice the flooring, which was a DIY whitewash project, I read.  Very pretty!

master pillows

Shades of pink in the pillows.

scarf box

And I love this framed scarf over the dresser. Great way to personalize a space.

emmas room

She has 2 daughters and this is one room, so cute.

emmas room 2

Welcome to Crazy Town, love that little saying.

averys room

Another daughter’s room, full of polkadots and splashes of color.

nursery

The nursery is pretty and neutral.  Check out the tassel bunting on the wall.

loft 2

A bonus room is another great spot for lounging.

work room 2

And she has her very own office/work space with lots of fun things, like a huge chalkboard wall.

work room 3

I’m sure lots of fun things happen in this space.   What a great area to have in your home, full of creativity and inspiration.

work room

A sewing machine stays here, as well as baskets and bins for organizing. Love that thread holder.

I hope you enjoyed this Feature Friday of House Seven and Anissa’s fabulous home!

Love the master bedroom floor! I would love to know what type of wood and what she used to white wash them.
