Feature Friday: Hunt and Host

Say hello to Kim with Hunt and Host from Texas.  She’s a brand new, less than a year old blogger and I just love what I see of her and her house.  She’s also a Christian and I love what I read of how she expresses her heart and how it relates to home.  She’s a hunter and gatherer (just like so many of us) and loves fixing up a pretty home on a budget.

She and her hubby (and 3 kiddos) bought a 1951 fixer upper that had been on the market for over a year.  The way she describes it, they should have never even thought about buying it, but they saw a good deal and decided it was worth it to renovate and renovate they did.

I love it and I know you will too.  Older homes like this have so much character.

I just want to put these pretty pics out there and let you take it all in. You can see this is a great Before and After story and I love those!

With a cute dog like this, you know you will love Kim and her home.

One more thing, the kitchen was a complete gut job, but that Dutch door is original to the house.  Adorable!

And another thing….I’m in love with those light fixtures above. Aren’t they just gorgeous?!  And that marble countertop too.

I love Kim’s solution for spray paint storage.

Love all the renovations that Kim made to her home! I am such a fan of blue and I see she is too! We have renovated three houses over the years and I know how much work it takes, but also how much joy it gives! Thanks for sharing!
