Today’s Feature Friday is a little bit different from what I normally share, but I happen to be a fan of designer James Wheeler, so when I got an email from his PR firm asking to feature him, I said OK, let’s do that. She sent along some of his latest designs, a residence he designed and the Serebe showhouse that he was part of as well. I have seen some of his designs here in show houses in Atlanta and have admired his work from afar. It’s always nice to see how designers do things and then we can get ideas from them.
I love design whether it’s high-end or normal down to earth design, which is what I share here on my blog most of the time. That’s where I live my life, but I also enjoy seeing what designers put together and a more luxury designed home as well. So today, enjoy some creations by James Wheeler of J Wheeler Designs as my Feature Friday.
Formal living room and dining room he designed for a residence. I do really like the colors he used and how elegant it all feels.
Really like that he used an antique piece in here, such character added. At least it looks like an antique to me.
Traditional lines on the furniture and lots of texture make a great space.
Notice the grasscloth, something on my radar too.
A media room and office designed by James.
A bath, entry and laundry area at the Serenbe showhouse designed by James.
I hope you enjoyed an out of the ordinary Feature Friday today and the lovely designs of J Wheeler Designs. Check out his website and portfolio for more!
Simply stunning….amazing accessories that look so thoughtfully placed yet so natural at the same time. Love the dining room chairs.
Yes – liking those dining room chairs. Not gonna lie – the ‘fish’ wallpaper kind of creeps me out. Not sure why. Ichthyophobia?
All of the rooms are gorgeous. I’m not a mauve or blush fan and didn’t care for the fish wall at all, but he definitely is blessed with decorating talent. I loved the little seat by the back door. Lovely job. Thanks for sharing.
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing with us.
Love, love the “antique piece” in the formal living room!
So many things I love about the design and decorating. Simplicity and style. Could use his help for our new home.
I love absolutely everything about this! Everything! Is there anyway to find out the source of the hallway/entryway carpet runner?
HI, Marianne, your best bet would be to go to James Wheeler’s site and contact him. Sorry, I don’t know him personally.
