Feature Friday: Jane At Home

Hey friends and Happy Friday to you all!  I’ve got another fun and talented woman to share with you today, someone I met on Instagram, but she also blogs as well.  Meet Jane, with Jane At Home. Her Instagram is filled with beautiful shots of her home all decorated in blue and white. It truly makes a statement and is so fresh and clean feeling.  Her backdrop of white paint is a wonderful canvas for her blue and white hues and it just makes you feel happy looking at her pics!

Jane sent me a little bio about herself, so I’m going to let her talk and introduce herself.

After spending several years in the legal arena, I decided to pursue my love of interior design and now enjoy a career as an interior stylist and blogger at Jane at Home, a home decor and lifestyle blog. It’s my space to share not only decorating ideas, tips and inspiration, but encouragement
for bringing more wellbeing to your home and life.

My husband and I live near the Rocky Mountains and have two married daughters and four grandchildren. We’re blessed to have them all living nearby so we get to see them on a regular basis. I also love animals, so we always have at least one furry friend sharing our home–currently it’s Baxter, our English bulldog, who occasionally makes an appearance on my Instagram page!

As empty nesters, we enjoy a pretty laid back, relaxed lifestyle–and our home reflects this time in our lives. As you can see, I love using blue and white throughout our home.

Even though we don’t live near the beach, it’s my main source of inspiration right now. We love visiting the Charleston, SC area and hope to move there when we retire. Until then, I try to bring that easy, breezy coastal vibe to our home with baskets, seashells and natural materials
like rattan and linen.

As you’ll see in my photos, I like to change things up on a regular basis. Moving pillows and furniture around is my therapy of choice! Last year we painted all the (formerly beige) walls and ceilings in our home white and added panel molding to several walls. Just making those two changes created an entirely new look in our home.

My home is always evolving right along with me, and you never know what it will look like from day to day, so I’d love to have you come follow along on my decorating journey on my blog and Instagram page!

Isn’t Jane’s home beautiful?  I just love her fresh and clean blue and (mostly) white palette and the mood it creates. It does feel a little like a beach house, doesn’t it?  Stop by Jane’s blog, Jane At Home and get to know Jane!

Jane’s home is so beautiful! It’s really nice to see a full home tour that shows how beautiful it is beyond those little squares on Instagram. Thanks for sharing this beautiful feature, Rhoda! Love it and all the blue and white.

Beautiful and fresh. I’ve always thought the best rooms happen on a canvas of the perfect white. It’s not the easiest look to accomplish, but you nailed it, Jane!
