Feature Friday: Making Home Base

Happy Friday to you all!

Today’s Feature Friday is blogger Chelsea, with Making Home Base.  Chelsea has been blogging for 4 years and is a military wife who has moved all over the place and decorated her rentals along the way. They finally bought their own home in Florida a couple of years ago and she has been working hard making their new home shine and sparkle with all kinds of DIY projects and decorating ideas.  I think you’ll enjoy this hard working mom of 2 girls and all that she’s done to make her house a home.

Entryway coming in the home.

I love Chelsea’s colorful use of blue and white, along with a pop of pink in the artwork.

And on the sofa pillows.  Adds a fun touch of color!

Chelsea has done a lot of DIY projects, including working on the fireplace.

And painting the kitchen cabinets too, along with tiling the backsplash in marble.

Painting cabinets is always a great way to update a kitchen on a budget.

They built a little window seat in under the windows in the breakfast area and added a table for a banquette feel. So cute!

Master bedrom in soothing shades of blue and white.

The master bath got a renovation too with new tile and other pretty details.

That’s such a pretty border in the subway tiled shower in the master bath makeover.

Their two little girls share a room with twin beds, so cute!

I think this is the guest bath and it got a renovation too.  Love this!

A pretty office is always fun to work in and Chelsea created a beautiful office space for herself.

I’m really liking some pops of wallpaper lately and this one is so happy and colorful.

Their outdoor spaces are very fun and happy too with lots of color.

Ahhh, this gets me in the mood for Spring, doesn’t it you?  With all the wintry weather we have had this year, I’m itching for some Spring sunshine and milder temps to brighen up our days.

I hope you enjoyed this tour of Chelsea’s home at Making Home Base! Hop on over and say hello to her, I know she would love to meet you.

I love it all! The combination of different blues is so inviting but restful. I love that it’s all very pretty but not overdone.
