Feature Friday: Our Humble A{bowe}d

There’s just a never-ending supply of worthy bloggers out there to feature on my Feature Friday series and here’s another one up today.  Ben and Amanda from My Humble A{bowe}d are a young family who are fixing up a 60’s rancher and as you will see in the after pics, there’s some talent going on in this house.

He’s talented with the building part and she’s talented with putting the rooms together. You can click the link above to see all the Before and After pics in their Grand Tour, so I’m going to show some of the Afters.  Prepare to oooh and ahhh at the pretty factor.  I love seeing these old 60’s ranch homes being fixed up today.  I could definitely live in a rancher myself.  That’s one of the houses I grew up in myself.

The outside was improved on and you won’t believe all the in progress and Before pics.

I’m just going to show you the After’s now, but you will have to click over to their blog to see all the amazing transformations.   There is just nothing better than Before and Afters!

Amanda has done a wonderful job putting their home together and making it their own.  I hear her hubby is pretty talented too and it definitely shows.

Check out this beautiful board and batten.

This home office space is just an amazing space too.

This open bookcase is so organized and pretty to boot.

More board and batten in the dining room.  Can you say ahhhh?????

What a sweet and stylish nursery this is.

That rug takes the precious out of it, but is really stylish.

Beadboard is always a great solution too.  I can’t get enough of it.

Check out what they’ve done to their downstairs family room.  I just love this! So spacious and pretty too.

Open shelving under the vanity is stylish and functional and more board and batten for architectural details.

What a great tour of a beautiful home, done with love and DIY expertness.  I hope you all got some great ideas for your space too.

Don’t forget to stop by Ben and Amanda’s and say hello!

Wow – the woodwork alone is amazing, but add to that the finishing touches – stunning! They’ve done a great job showing this house some TLC!
