Feature Friday: Our Vintage Home Love

There is a never ending supply of beautiful homes in blogland, all styles and tastes.  Today’s feature is Diana with Our Vintage Home Love.  She and her family live in a house built in 1905, quaint and charming, just as you’d expect from a Craftsman exterior such as this.  Come along for a fun tour of Diana’s home, I think you’ll enjoy her vintage style!

exterior

Is this not just adorable?  I love exteriors like this, so cottagey and quaint.

front porch

It’s exactly what I would expect in an older house with character.  The front door just welcomes folks in.

chickens

Oh, and these cute guys do too!  Chickens are fun.

front porch swing

Love the touch of the striped floors and that dream swing with the hanging jars behind for light.  So cute!

living room2

Inside the front door is the living room, with white sofas, textured fabrics, and a rustic coffee table.

living room

Very pretty with a farmhouse feel.

kitchen island

The kitchen has a rustic island and row of cabinets, windows looking to the outdoors.

kitchen shelves

Love the open shelves with rustic wood and brackets.

dining room

The dining room is neutral with white painted furniture, but lots of textures.

den

The den where the family probably spends a lot of time.

console table

Love this summer sign over the vintage table.  Those drapes are pretty fabric too.

master bedroom

Master bedroom with reclaimed wood headboard.

master bath

And a cute and cottagey bathroom complete with clawfoot tub.

laundry

Even the laundry room got a cute makeover.

laundry 2

And it fits right in with the farmhouse feel of the entire home.

I would love to sit on the porch and visit in this house, wouldn’t you?  Diana has created a warm and inviting home for her family and I loved getting a peek at it. Hope you’ll go over and visit her blog, Our Vintage Home Love.

Nice! I really like the pieces she used for a coffee table and the kitchen island. And how about those shelves in the kitchen. I wonder where those came from???

    Happy weekend!

I’ve followed Vintage Love Home for awhile now & love it. Did you know many of the details she or her husband made themselves?! They also have a shop in their little downtown called Vintage Accents that I never tire of shopping in .

I’m always up for a laundry room re-do as I’m in the planning stage on mine. I’ve been pinning on pinterest and Houzz and just need to work out final floor plan before I start. Keep the inspiration coming.

Always enjoy coming to your blog. It’s such a treat to see your Mother’s meals, as it’s the food that I grew up on. It has been exciting to see your home remodel progress, and to discover other blogs on your Friday feature. If I could scoop up something wonderful from Diana’s home, it would surely be the rustic island in the kitchen. But I’d probably try to tuck a chicken under each arm on the way out, too ; )

Rhoda, I have tried to leave comments with Diana, and I cannot seem to get the Url or sign up correctly (sorry) I would love her exterior paint colors, and the brand of paint, could you please help find out? Thx Rhoda, love both of your homes, Sincerely, Karen Davis
