Hey, friends! Happy Friday to you all. It finally feels like Fall here in GA and I am very happy about that. Mark and I will be headed to New England soon, so I’m working ahead on some posts to share with all of you. We are counting the days and can’t wait for this trip!
Today’s Feature Friday is a good one is you love before and after pics! Meet Tammy with Pink Peppermint Design. She moved from CA to Utah in 2017 and bought a fixer upper 80’s house and spent 2017 doing some major renovations, completely changing this house from the exterior to the interior. It doesn’t resemble the 80’s anymore! Check out her before and after exterior post for a look at how the house looked when they bought the house and how it looks now.
The exterior got a complete remodel, including removing old stucco, adding concrete siding and painting the brick. She changed the front entry too and made it more modern.
Here’s the entry Before, when they bought the house. Looks very traditional and you can definitely see the 80’s here.
A complete remodel of the entry included all new trim installed, new flooring, new stairs, changing out the old railings and spindles with modern and a newel post. All white paint and wood accents!
And of course, a new light fixture. I just love all that trim work, what a difference it makes!
And now to the decorating part, this is Tammy’s foyer for Fall. If you want to see more of her in progress posts on the renovation of the house, you can peruse her blog for lots of information. She shares a lot over there on the process and cost of projects. This was a major gut job in many rooms and wow, does it show!
I adore this black and natural cane tray which she found at Homegoods. If I saw this, I’d snap it up in a hot minute!
Moving to the living room, this space got a complete new look too and now looks so fresh and modern.
She did use a lot of white paint, but offset with textures and fabrics to soften things up. This room has a great feel to me.
I love that coffee table and those wicker chairs. Lots of texture really balances out all white.
What a pretty coffee table arrangement and I love the Fall colors in those pillows.
The kitchen is another amazing space, completely gutted from the original.
This navy blue island is a show stopper and those pendant lights are too!
The runner sure adds a nice punch of color in her all white kitchen. Gorgeous!
I love an all white kitchen and Tammy made some great decisions in this space.
Her breakfast area is so inviting as well with another stunning chandelier.
The laundry room would make anyone envious, what a big space!
Storage, a sink, and room for hanging clothes makes a perfect laundry room. And it’s gorgeous too!
The master bath got a total renovation too, with lots of white and wood.
Really clean and pretty.
Gorgeous tub!
And that vanity has plenty of storage and two sinks. I love that wall of white tile, something I’d like to do in our master. It really elevates a bathroom.
The guest room has a built in desk space for office duties.
Such a cute and cozy space.
And she’s working on a kids bunk room using 3 of these twin beds. I love these colors together, so fresh!
Adorable space!
Tammy has been working hard on her 80’s fixer upper and it sure shows. She is continuing to work on other spaces in her home and I’m sure they will be equally stunning. Stop on by Pink Peppermint Design for more peeks at Tammy’s home and style. She has a really pretty blog with lots of good stuff on there! A true renovation journey in her home!
Hope y’all have a great weekend!

This is really gorgeous! I love the white backdrop and the decorating is all perfect. The colors in that kid’s room is so fun. The pop of green makes me want to paint something today!!

What a beautiful home. ❤️❤️❤️

That black and cane tray is everything!

I am not a fan of that much white. It reminds me of a sterile hospital. I think every room needs some color, even if the walls are white and the theme is neutral. Just my opinion.

You will love New England. Even though we’ve lived in Alpharetta for 35 years, I still love going back up there. We lived in Massachusetts for 10 yrs. The leaves should be beautiful when you’re there. Enjoy!!

I have caught Tammys home on several blogging home tours in the past and her house is just stunning! I think her kitchen and master bath are just beautiful and designed so well. Hope she will be on the Holiday Bloggers Tour again this year. Have fun on your New England trip and make sure you bring some heavier jackets! Cant wait to see your pics.

It is a very beautiful home, but definitely a lot of white.

I agree with Amanda. Too much white for me. I like what you have done in your house much better.
