Feature Friday: Playing Sublimely Butler’s Pantry

Awhile ago, I featured Amy, from Playing Sublimely and her beautiful house renovation that she and her handy husband took on.  They have created a beautiful home and recently took another area of their house, an unused sitting room and turned it into 3 separate spaces that are just gorgeous.  That sitting room turned into a mudroom, hallway cabinet and a full-fledged butler’s pantry.

Here’s the space after it was finished, with the mudroom on the left, the hall cabinet on the right and the butler’s pantry through the door on the right side.  Isn’t this a beautiful use of space?

Amy has great taste, with an elegant style that flows through her home.  I love the detail in this butler’s pantry.

Drapes were added to the windows.

She opted for a pearly paint finish, which is so lustrous and classic.

A small fridge/wine cooler is included which I’m sure comes in handy.

Lovely artwork.

stencil walls-

Amy used a beautiful stencil and faux finish on the paint which really ups the elegant factor.

Wouldn’t you love to have this much extra storage?

Right outside the butler’s pantry, she had room for this beautiful built-in cabinet.  Wow, is it gorgeous too.

Amy, thanks for showing off your beautiful and elegant new butler’s pantry.  And the best part is, Amy’s husband built all of this.  What a talent that is!

Say hello to Amy at her beautiful blog, Playing Sublimely.

Wow! What a gorgeous space! I’m so jealous of all that storage. I wouldn’t have had to put a stop to the dish collecting with a butler’s pantry like that. Beautiful images! Thanks for sharing.

How absolutely lovely! Every square inch! Ever since I’ve had an interest in design I’ve been awestruck by southern architecture and homes. (I’m not sure if Playing Sublimely is southern) Rhoda, if I am blessed enough to make it to Haven, I definitely want to take an extra day to tour some homes. Perhaps you could make some recommendations ;)!

Wow, so beautiful! I keep trying to get my retired hubby to get into carpentry, but he has the nerve to have his own interests, can you believe it?? LOL
I love all the fabulous crown moldings and the stenciling. Such a beautiful Butler’s Pantry. I’m in awe. Gorgeous.

Love, love, love this pantry. We’re trying to create something like this in the basement.
