I’d like to introduce you to a husband/wife blogging team up in Toronto, Rambling Renovators.  I came across their blog a few months ago and was blown away by the sheer beauty of their before and after pics.  If you love to see dramatic transformations you must check out their Home Tour and see what all they have been up to since purchasing their 1950’s semi-detached red brick townhome in 2007.  They have come a long way!  I asked Jennifer if I could feature them on my blog and she was happy to oblige.

And how inspiring it is to me to see their progress, since I’m about to embark on my very own Before and After story.  Don’t we love to see those?!

Rambling Renovators has been on the Nate Berkus show and received some wonderful press on their renovation story.  So happy to have them here to show off on my Feature Friday.

Here’s their 50’s brick townhouse front door after they did a few things to the entry.  Beautiful!  I love older homes like this with great bones and character.

I’m not going to show you all the Before pics, you’ll have to click over to their Home Tour above, but this is what they started with.  Dated, not very pretty, in dire need of an update.

With his architectural know-how and her interior design savvy, this space is truly transformed into a thing of beauty.  These are the kinds of pics that inspire me.  I had vision for my dated space too and it’s going to be beautiful very soon too.

Master bedroom recently got a facelift and I love that board and batten wall.

The bathroom also got a major overhal.  Love this and would love to do something charming in my bathrooms one day. Maybe next year!

kitchenafter

The kitchen after a renovation.  These are the same Shaker style cabinets I’m getting from Ikea.

livingafter

I love Jennifer’s style and the way she puts things together.  Very pretty living room!

When their daughter was born, a nursery was also made and how pretty it is.

officeafter

I remember drooling over their office on Rate My Space several years ago.  It’s still inspiring to me. Of course, I love green too.

deckafter

Their outdoor deck recently got an update too and it’s such an inviting an cozy space.

I hope you enjoyed meeting Jennifer and seeing their beautifully updated 1950’s house in Toronto.  Hop over and stay hello!

Please click over to Jennifer’s blog if you are going to Pin on Pinterest!  Thanks!

YES! Becky, I just got the magazine in the mail and saw that on the front cover. That’s the Southern Living Idea house I visited and it is so exciting to see my fixture on there. Can’t wait to hang it in MY living room.
