Hey there and Happy Friday!
Today’s Feature Friday, I’ve just met myself in a recent home tour I was in. Meet Susan, from Saw Nail and Paint. She’s a mom and wife from Seattle, WA, former nurse and attorney, but now a stay at home mom. She has her own business in furniture painting and refinishing and runs her pretty blog since 2014. Susan’s Craftsman home is so charming and I know you’ll love it. She had me at the charming front porch!
Saw Nail and Paint Home Tour
Oh my sweetness, look at this gate! So charming!
Isn’t this such a welcoming front porch?! I love it all.
Be still my heart, the lantern light, the planked ceiling painted light blue and all the comfy chairs and accessories.
So welcoming and inviting.
The other end of the porch is equally as charming.
I love a pretty porch space, outdoor spaces are my fave for summer!
Inside the cute foyer is so charming as well.
Her summer living room is beautiful with shades of blue.
Another cozy corner chair.
The family room opens into the kitchen with flowing style. I took pics from different home tours on Susan’s blog, so you’ll see some of these areas decorated with different things, but all so pretty.
And example of a painted hutch that Susan has refurbished. I’ll show you more of those down below, she’s done such a wonderful array of painted thrifted pieces.
Such a pretty white kitchen, my fave!
I think this shot was her Christmas kitchen, but it’s so pretty I had to share.
I love all her small touches with fresh flowers and pops of color.
Beautiful display on the island.
Another shot of the dining table looking to the kitchen from her recent Summer tour.
The master bedroom is so cozy and inviting with neutrals and blues.
I just love Susan’s easy breezy style.
Susan did a makeover on her daughter’s room, so pretty, using a Goodwill bed that’s so classic.
Cottage details make for a cozy space.
A cozy chair was a must in the room as well.
Her bathrooms are equally charming and cottagey.
Love the details on that board and batten treatment in the navy blue kids bathroom.
I think this is an office space, so cute as well with all those colors.
The laundry room painted a bold blue and I love that striped runner.
Susan does a beautiful job with vintage furniture restoration. Check out these pieces that she’s found and revived with paint and more.
Weren’t those pretty pieces? You can find such great things thrifting and I love seeing the makeovers. Now I’m thinking about painting that chest of drawers in my guest room, a vintage piece that I found ages ago. Painting it might be fun to give it a new look.
Susan’s talent goes outdoors as well, with a beautiful backyard table for entertaining.
What a gorgeous table setting!
Not only backyard entertaining, but she has chickens too. What a cute chicken coop!
I hope you enjoyed this beautiful tour of Susan’s home at Saw Nail and Paint! You can check out lots more details at her blog, so stop by and stay hello. She’s got a blog full of inspiration!
Adorable! I’m headed over now to follow!!
When can I move in………..
Love this one, my favorite of your recent shares. Thanks!
Oh My Golly, I scrolled up and down like 15 times looking at each photo over and over. I think Pinterest is about sick of me today. Love this feature. Can hardly wait to click on over and subscribe! Seriously precious!
This is a house I’d loooooove to live in!
I am so inspired by that black and wood chest! It’s just gorgeous….thx for sharing such a new to us blogger!
Thanks for sharing, Rhoda! I just got lots of ideas from Susan’s decorating style. Love all of the white and the front door color.
Absolutely gorgeous! This is a style I can really relate to, in a home that makes you instantly feel cozy. I love all the pictures, but the master bedroom is a real inspiration, as I’m getting ready to re-do my guest bedroom in blues and whites. I will definitely be subscribing to this blog!
Beautiful! Love everything about this house!
What paint color is used in daughters bedroom?
