Romantic shabby chic style has been around in one form or another for many years now and it is still popular and evolving.  Many of us loved a relaxed and casual feel with flowers, vintage linens and worn and loved old furnishings.  Janet from Shabbyfufu is one of those vintage style decorators who does it so well and she shows it all on her blog, inspiring many with her beautiful photographs and pretty visuals.

Janet lives in the Miami area of South Florida and has renovated and updated her 25 year old home over the years to suit her taste and style.  She’s always loved vintage style and decor and is a nationally published stylist and photographer, with her work featured in magazines such as Better Homes and Gardens Garden style, Flea Market Style, Flea Market Decorating, Romantic Homes, Romantic Country, Shabby Style and many more.  I can only aspire to take photos as beautiful as Janet’s and if you love vintage and shabby chic, you’re going to love her home!

Shabbyfufu white decorating

As you can imagine, her home is her photography studio and things get changed around a lot.  So, you’ll see her living room change in these shots, but it’s all beautiful to look at.

Romantic vignettes and beautiful surroundings.

The mantel gets changed out frequently too with lots of fresh flowers in every photo shoot.

shabbyfufu florentine living room

Doesn’t every photoshoot need fresh flowers?  Yes, I think so and I don’t do that very often, but it sure looks good in pics. Love these Florentine gold tables.

Don’t you love this vintage style blue Ball jar candy?  So cute!  And oh, those peonies are just gorgeous. I must plant some of those again.

pale green glass tiles

Lots of dishes on display and I bet she uses these a lot in her photography.

A dresser sideboard in the dining room gets a decorated touch.

pastels

More blue bottles and pink flowers. What a great combo that is!

Janet also has a beach house too that is so pretty, so check it out there if you want more! This colorful cabinet is from the beach house.

Who is ready to go out and buy flowers now?  What a difference all those flowers make in Janet’s photos, don’t they?  I hope you enjoyed this tour of Janet’s charming shabby chic home.

If you l love this style, Janet and Courtney, another of my blog friends, have started a new online magazine and this is the 2nd month they’ve done it.  It’s subscription based, so check it out here.

Y’all have a great weekend!

Big Congrats to Susan H. who won the Frontgate Durachill Beverage dispenser.  She’s been emailed and posted on the Rafflecopter widget!

Wow, I don’t care about mason jars and really don’t love chippy anything, but these rooms are so lovely. The colors are fresh and serene, the photos are just gorgeous. Thanks for featuring this blog!
