Feature Friday: Shades of Blue Interiors

Happy Friday! It’s been awhile since I shared this Feature Friday, but I hope you enjoy it all over again. Rachel has since had another baby, but is still in this house and it’s still so cute!  They’ve done a great job with it!

************************************************

I’m back today featuring another really talented blogger, Rachel with Shades of Blue Interiors.  She’s a mama of 3 and lives in a suburban St. Louis home, which she and her hubby have really renovated and made better.  She’s got a sweet vintage style and the girl can build too.  There’s a lot of talent in blogland with these DIYer’s and all the projects they do.  Rachel has such a good eye for styling too, so enjoy her beautiful home tour.

They did a remodel on their exterior, adding chunky cedar beams and painting the brick. You can see different seasons of decor here in these shots. So pretty!

They also added those brick pavers on their front porch which is just gorgeous!  We’d like to do a similar treatment to our back patio area and this is so pretty.

I just love the curb appeal now!

Entry bench styling, so cute and cottagey.

Rachel does a great job with her vignettes and creating a mood.

And she built this table!  Way to go, Rachel.

Sitting room with a vintage piano that Rachel painted.

The family room with Ikea sofas.

Dining room

I just love how Rachel’s house is so collected, warm, and welcoming.

The kitchen was all DIY’d by Rachel and her hubby, including building the island.

So cute and casual.

The master bedroom features a beautiful Eastlake bed.

A really pretty farmhouse bathroom makeover.

Rachel has a daughter and two boys, so a busy mama. And such cute children’s spaces!

Rachel did this wood treatment on the closet doors herself. So pretty!

Recently completed guest room.

Her outdoor spaces are so inviting too. They’ve done an outstanding job with this home, don’t you think?

Look at this wood table that drops down in the backyard.  Very efficient use of space.

What a beautiful home and patio area!  I hope you enjoyed this Feature Friday as much as I did. Hop on over and say hello to Rachel at Shades of Blue Interiors!

Love this modern farmhouse cottage vibe, but my favorite of all is the little teepee with the flowers at the top in the little girl’s room. So cute!

ooooh that Eastlake bed!!! I want it. They ought to brick the front walkway, when they get a round tuit.
They have made a beautiful home!
