Feature Friday: Sincerely Sara D

Hey, friends!  Yay for Friday and especially Good Friday, such a special time.

Today’s Feature Friday is a really talented gal, Sara, with Sincerely Sara D.  She lives in the Indianapolis area and her house has really transformed over the last couple of years since they’ve lived there.  She’s made over so many rooms in her house and I really like her style and direction she has going and I think you will too.  She has 3 adorable children and is married to her college sweetheart, Steve.  The two of them have made such an impact on their house in a short amount of time.

Beautiful front entry.

Sara made over her family room space with moldings on the wall and a deep navy paint color. Really took on a dramatic look with all the changes.

I love how dark and moody colors can really make a room pop.

From her spring tour, so pretty.

The dining room looks so nice too with neutral fabrics and wood accents.

Another shot of her spring table, just love this!  And that board and batten box treatment on the wall is really neat too.

She’s got more navy accents heading to the kitchen with this gallery wall of her family.

Looking back towards the family room. The darker color really works with all the white she has to balance it all out.  Love that pop of pink in the rug too.

The did a DIY kitchen makeover and it looks fantastic as well.

I love the color of her cabinets, such a soft and soothing color.

Isn’t this so pretty?

Breakfast area with benches and chairs.

And open shelves with white dish displays.

A back entrance is their mudroom area.

With shoes slots for everyone.  Great idea for an old mail sorter like this.

I adore her laundry room!  I’m taking notes for my own laundry room space. It needs serious help. And I love that she stenciled her ceramic tile making it look totally new.  What a great idea!  She shares all the details on her blog.

A library area with sliding ladder and she painted this piano too to suit her space.

Love this wall of books.

The master bedroom has a great soaring ceiling.

Another gorgeous makeover in their master bath with white subway tile, new flooring and tub.

Not to mention the vanities, how pretty are these?

Love how simple and clean lined they are with the round mirror and sconces.

Guest room is pretty in pink and gray.

Her kids have a really cute play space.

Twin beds for the boys.

And a girly space for her girl.

Wasn’t that a beautiful home tour from Sara?  I just love her home and I thought you might get some great ideas too, she’s so creative! Stop on by and visit her blog and say hello!

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend!  I’ll be sharing the guest bathroom reveal this Sunday/Monday, so stop on by and take a peek!

Such a beautiful home with so much delicious ‘eye candy.’ Love her ‘word art’ over the piano – lyrics from the song “Oceans”; caught my eye because those lines from the song are my Pastor’s favorite. Happy Easter, Rhoda. He is Risen!!

Wonderful home…..loved her use of color too! I also love how she incorporated family pictures to personalize each room. You know it’s THEIR home. I much prefer that rather than a home only look like a model home. Great job!
