Feature Friday: South Georgia Style

I’m in Nashville through the weekend, but hope you all have a good one. Today’s Feature Friday is a gal I’ve shared before on her previous house, under The Happier Homemaker. Melissa has since moved a few times with her military husband, but now he’s retired and they have bought their forever home near Savannah, GA. Enjoy the tour of her house and all they’ve done in the last couple of years they’ve been here. Her new blog is called South Georgia House, where she shares DIY projects and decorating ideas.

What a stately grand home! I’m not going to narrate a lot today, but enjoy the tour!

Melissa did say to disregard the kitchen. They have plans to update it later with lighter countertops and painting the cabinets white.

Love the deep navy, Sherwin Williams Naval that they painted their master bedroom.

Melissa’s office space.

Melissa said this backyard is part of what sold them on the house. Look at these views! Those majestic trees with dripping moss that the Savannah area is known for.

And there’s Melissa enjoying the backyard space. They’ve really worked hard on that space and it shows. I hope you’ll go over and visit Melissa at South Georgia Style and see what she’s up to!

Have a great weekend!

Lovely! Nice to see kitty lounging on a white couch…sticky rollers to the rescue. I hope you have the opportunity to go back after the kitchen refresh!
