This week is still off schedule, but I did manage to get a new Feature Friday going today. Today’s feature is a really sweet lady named Marty, who blogs at A Stroll Thru Life. She has been blogging for a few years now and just moved into a new house last December in Arizona and she is making it her own. I hope you enjoy the tour and go say hello to Marty. She runs several home blogger tours every year and it’s always fun being part of the lineup.
Marty is greeting you now, so go on in and join her!
They’ve been in their house since December and I love how Marty updated her kitchen to a warm and friendly space that looks so much better than before! Don’t you agree?
I have a soft spot for this Praying picture, since my mom has one hanging in the dining room of their mountain house for years.
The latest project that Marty just completed is the addition of a new backyard pool! Now that is nice this time of year and I hope she’s enjoying it. Â Stop on over and meet Marty and tell her I sent you!
I love this tour! Marty’s new house and pool are gorgeous!
Wonderful to see Marty’s home featured. She has done an absolutely fantastic job making her house a home. Might fine.
I would’ve at least painted the vanity ..right now it looks like 90’s vanity, brand new countertop..and add hardware,…just my thought…very nice kitchen transformation.
What a lovely individual you come across as Gilda….but it’s just my thought…..
Rhoda, Marty’s home is always fun to see…she has done such a great job and the new pool looks so inviting’

Always nice to see Marty’s home. I especially like the kitchen and sitting area off of it. Pretty use of soft, warm colors. Love the golds, browns and creams and how they flow through the house.
Marty enjoyed your tour, thank you for sharing Rhoda. This home has a warmth with the wood tones heating up the white. Very inviting and relaxing, which I love. Thank you enjoy the rest of your summer.
Thanks so much for having me Rhoda. I am thrilled to be part of your Feature Series. Congratulations on your new home and upcoming marriage. I wish you and Mark the very best.
Love the updates, especially your kitchen. I see you changed countertop in kitchen from dark brown tone to white tone. Is it granite, and what is color name. Thanks J Williams
Thanks, I love my new kitchen too. The counters were formica when we bought the house. The granite is called Kasmir White. It has beautiful tones of gray, white, gold and brown.
Love this tour….Such a lovely home….What you did to your kitchen is amazing….I hope you enjoy your new life in AZ…My bestfriend will be moving there in December, they bought a new home last year there…and my dad just moved there from St. Louis…Can’t wait to go visit and explore the beauty of AZ….
My sweet mother-in-law displayed the Old Man Praying print as well. I always enjoyed seeing it there, reminding me to pray without ceasing. Great tour! Thank you!

Beautiful and tranquil! The kitchen transformation is stunning!!
Beautiful home! Love all the antique pieces! Great idea using the gate leg table as a desk; they are so pretty, but sometimes difficult to place.
I’ve followed Marty’s blog for a long time. It is nice to see her featured here!
Love Marty and her home. Enjoyed following her on her journey of her new home. Great feature!
It’s so good to see Marty’s home being featured! She’s been doing a wonderful job turning a builder’s grade house into a beautiful and cozy home in such short amount of time. <3
What a beautiful home, and her kitchen reno is to die for! I’m a horse girl and adore the beautiful horse picture hanging in her sitting area off the kitchen. I think I’m going to have to take a stroll on over to her blog and check things out! Thanks, Rhoda, for sharing.
