Happy Friday, friends! We’re getting into the middle of September, so I guess we are officially into Fall now. I wish the weather would cooperate and cool off a little bit. It’s still so humid outside, not comfortable at all.
But I’m back today with another inspiring Feature Friday for you! These bloggers are best friends and blog together at The DIY Playbook. They both have a fresh and fun modern style and up today is Casey of the Casey and Bridget duo.
Bridget & Casey are the best friends and Chicago gals behind the blog, The DIY Playbook. The two besties walk their readers through the intimidating world of interior design and home improvement, one DIY project at a time. Bridget is currently renovating her suburban ranch with her husband (Matt) and baby (Ben). Casey and her husband (Finn) live in the city of Chicago and have spent the past 3 years renovating every nook and cranny in their Chicago condo.
I love the trimmed out treatment on this wall coming in the door, for jackets and hanging things. Perfect drop zone!
Let’s tour Casey’s home first, a Chicago condo. Casey has a fresh and neutral modern style.
Light, bright and open space.
An open kitchen rounds out the condo with lots of storage.
Master bedroom is also very clean lined and modern.
The guest room has a deep moody shade on the walls and there’s one of those box molding treatments that we are planning for our master bedroom.
Guest bathroom is so pretty!
I love this one a lot!
The even have a cute little deck outside for some outdoor entertaining. Looks so cozy and fun!
Hope you enjoyed this tour of Casey’s home in Chicago. She’s done a fantastic job with rehabbing this condo in every space. Lots of great inspiration for a modern and clean look! Don’t forget to stop by The DIY Playbook and get to know Casey and Bridget.
We’re so honored to be featured on your blog, Rhoda! Thanks so much and have a wonderful weekend!
I love the built in shelving in Casey’s apartment. Do you know if she had it custom built or where she bought it? I so enjoy your blog…..i often learn something useful!!
Thanks,
Donna
