Hey, there and happy Friday on a long summer weekend after the 4th! Hope y’all are having a good week so far and ready for the weekend. It’s been a hot one this week in Georgia, no surprise there.
Today’s Feature Friday is a blog I’ve just discovered, The Wicker House. Meet Emily, from a small town in Idaho, who lives in this adorable 1924 cottage home with her family. I love these vintage homes and Emily says her style is laid-back and casual with Coastal, Cottage, Farmhouse, and Bohemian blend. Such a cute house and I think y’all will enjoy seeing it too!
Such an adorable and charming exterior.
Love that front blue door!
Emily’s style is so welcoming, cottagey, and electic mix of charm.
She’s just painted her house in a warm shade of white and it looks like the perfect backdrop for all her beautiful furnishings.
Of course, I love the accents of blue.
She has a great mix of vintage items to accessorize with.
The living room opens up to the dining room with those charming corner built-ins.
So pretty!
And that leads to the kitchen.
It’s painted all white too and is light and airy.
The master bedroom is a charming attic room, also white with blue accents.
Small master bath.
Her boys’ bunk room.
And their blue and white charming bathroom is so cute.
The sunroom/office has a beautiful wall of windows and Emily has recently revamped this space too.
She added a pretty and bold mural on the wall and I love it!
What a cozy space.
Outdoors is a playhouse with a sitting area underneath.
How cute is this? Outdoor spaces are the best!
I love Emily’s charming home and I knew you would too. Hope you’ll stop over to The Wicker House and meet Emily and say hello. I know you’ll be inspired too!
There are so many wonderful details in this home!! Love it.
I love this cottage! She has used every square inch in the best of ways…. Soooo pretty !!! Love that outdoor sitting area as well…….
that is funny that you don’t see any WICKER until the last photo! ha
Love every inch of this beautiful cottage! Thanks for sharing:)
Charming!
What a lovely cottage. Love the outdoor space.
Good Morning Rhoda…..yes…I am loving these Friday Favorites. Would there be any way possible to get the name & brand of her blue front door? I would love to paint ours that color. Thanks!
HI, Sue, you would need to go over to her blog and ask her, I have no idea.
