Today’s Feature Friday is a new to me blogger, Angela with Unexpected Elegance. Angela has created a warm, cottage feel in her home with lots of rustic accents and a little color thrown into the mix. Like most of us, Angela decorates her home on a budget and has found ways to save money and still get the look she wants by doing a lot of DIY projects along the way.
Her entry has a planked wall added for some visual appeal. Such a cute spot for a big clock too.
Her family room is casually elegant with some rustic elements.
Love the natural fiber rug and the rustic wood coffee table and end table.
Her kitchen is nice and bright with creamy cabinets and a casual eating area.
What a beautiful space the kitchen is.
I think she made this zinc topped table in her dining room and it is one beautiful DIY project.
Elegant and casual at the same time.
Laundry room space with hooks for hanging things. And check out that split door.
Twin bedroom is cute as can be.
The master has an elegant upholstered headboard and neutral fabrics for an easy feel.
She has an awesome craft/office space.
Lots of built in ideas for storage and display.
I love this little corner with it’s vintage table and chair and the doors in the background are a perfect backdrop to this room.
The outdoors is not forgotten either with a beautiful patio space.
Firepit with seating area. What fun this would be in the evenings.
Summer Time, oh yes I’m ready for some sunshine too.
Hope you enjoyed touring Angela’s pretty home at Unexpected Elegance. It’s obvious she takes great pride in her home and has enjoyed decorating it for her sweet family.
Lovely home, I have to check out her blog, I would love to see more of the kitchen and love, love the porch, neat coffee table there, I wonder if she made that? Very nice home and will stop by and visit her blog.
