By now, most of you have heard about the brand spankin’ new magazine that is hitting the newstands:  Flea Market Style.  The brainchild of style gurus, Matthew Mead and Ki Nassauer, the magazine is full of junk market ideas and makeovers that will give you tons of ideas for your own home.

So, if you LOVE junk like I do, you will really enjoy this magazine.  Would you like to win a copy for yourself?  The publishers were gracious enough to send me MY very own copy and an extra one for ONE of YOU.

Click on over to my giveaway page for all the details! Comments have to be left there to be eligible for the drawing.

top-100

I’m also extremely thrilled to be chosen as a Top 100 Blogger in the Internet Cafe Devotions 2009 awards.   Look for me in this category:

Looks like fun!!! Would love to do this someday. Hope to win!!

Congrats, Norma!

So sorry the Groupshop bunny bookends with my Open Sky shop didn’t work out. We just didn’t have enough participants this time, but I’m going to work on another one soon and hopefully get something up that will appeal to many more.  Thanks to those who did want to purchase!

    Hey Rho:

    Congratulations! You have done well.

I saw the magazine at the grocery store and picked it up not knowing that there were some bloggers that I had been following for the past few years.

Don’t know what happened earlier with the link, but when I got on here, it’s working fine now. So, I moved over 3 of you (Kathy, Candace & Amy) who were trying to sign up over there, so you’re set now!

Hey Rhoda..still enjoying your blog on a daily basis and it is usually one of the first places I visit when I have my morning coffee. The magazine..after reading all of the hype about it, I purchased it the day it hit the bookstore shelves here.I have to say, I was disappointed. While I did find a couple of great ideas, as a whole I guess, the stuff is all a bit too rustic and chippy and floral-y( is this even a word?) for my liking. I’m sure they will have a great following though!

I’m new to the blog world. I love the inspirations and the friendly people in blog land. I love garage sales, thrift shops, antiques and flea markets. I was raised doing this and still love it. Always looking for those uniques ideas to make my home a one of a kind, one that shows who I am.
Can’t wait to see the new magazine !!!!
    Blessings,
    Melody
