With spring on most of our minds, I can’t help but think of flowers and beautiful arrangements this time of year.  Incorporating fresh flowers in decor is something that I do more often than I used to, even if it’s just grocery store flowers.

Southern Lady magazine is always fun to browse and they never disappoint when they publish books. I was recently sent Flowers with Southern Lady to browse, which gives inspiration and how-to’s for year-round entertaining.  This book is chock full of beautiful floral arrangements and lots of tips on how to achieve some of these looks at home.

Whether you have a wedding on the horizon or just want to hone your flower arranging skills for those upcoming parties and events at your own home, Flowers is a wonderful source and a beautifully illustrated coffee table book.

And I have 2 copies to give away too for my readers!

We are thinking about sitting up a “small wedding venue” at a friend of mine’s land in the country that includes a pond. The weddings would be 50 guests or less. A lot of wedding venues do not want to deal with weddings that are this small. I feel that brides who desire a small wedding or can’t afford a large one should have one that is just as beautiful as a large one. Our goal is to provide everything…food, flowers, direction, etc… This magazine would be very helpful for our floral design.

    Hi Rhoda,
I like to take flowers from my yard when we take meals to people from our church who are sick or who have had a baby–or to a hostess when we are invited out. This looks like a beautiful book that I’d love to have in my library or on my coffee table to peruse for good ideas. Thanks for the giveaway!

I don’t wait for a special occasion, I try to keep some fresh flowers in the house all the time. I pick them from my yard or buy some from the store. I dearly love fresh flowers in the house. It would be amazing to win that beautiful book. Thank you for sharing with us.
