With spring on most of our minds, I can’t help but think of flowers and beautiful arrangements this time of year.  Incorporating fresh flowers in decor is something that I do more often than I used to, even if it’s just grocery store flowers.

Southern Lady magazine is always fun to browse and they never disappoint when they publish books. I was recently sent Flowers with Southern Lady to browse, which gives inspiration and how-to’s for year-round entertaining.  This book is chock full of beautiful floral arrangements and lots of tips on how to achieve some of these looks at home.

Whether you have a wedding on the horizon or just want to hone your flower arranging skills for those upcoming parties and events at your own home, Flowers is a wonderful source and a beautifully illustrated coffee table book.

And I have 2 copies to give away too for my readers!

I absolutely love fresh flowers – and using them when you entertain makes all the difference with the look and feel of your event. I will be entertaining for Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day! I would love to win one of the books. Thanks so much for the opportunity!

Well my profile picture was a the quote”I’d rather have flowers on my table than diamonds around my neck”. My husband and I are hosting a welcome home shindig for our daughter in June she will have completed all of her training in the U.S. Marine Corp. and enter college in August. We will be decorating inside and out, fresh flowers are a must, some will be harvested others delivered from the florist for Joe and I to arrange. I am sure this book will give us some great ideas and how-to’s

I grow some flowers and shrubs for cutting, and purchase fresh flowers at the growers markets in my area. I really need a book which helps me with arranging these beauties. Thank you so much for the chance.

Mother’s Day. I’d like to give this book to a friend who recently lost her Mother. She is very creative and is having a hard time with Mother’s Day approaching. This might help her to fill the hole in her heart her Mother’s passing has left. She can bring the beauty of flowers into her home in memory.

I would love to have a copy of this book. I love Southern Lady, my favorite book. I am taking a course in flower judging, so this would be a tremendous help.
