Foyer Table Christmas Cheer

As I always do for Christmas, my foyer table is a great spot to add some Christmas cheer and I enjoy coming up with different ways to welcome my friends with some extra special touches. I’m joining my friend, Chris, with her annual tour, called Welcome Home this year and a talented group of bloggers are sharing our Christmas foyers or entryways all decorated for the season.  Take a look at Chris’s front porch in  Michigan, it’s snowing up there and it is a gorgeous winter wonderland!

If you’re stopping over from my friend, Melissa, a big welcome to you!

Welcome and come on in!  If you’re new, I’m so happy to meet you.

My front porch was shared earlier, but it’s just a simple spot to start creating a wonderful Christmas feeling as people come in the front door, with garlands and a pretty berry wreath.

I’ve had these brass bells for years and I love the way they jingle when we open the front door.  Jingle bells have that special sound of Christmas, don’t they?!

My flocked tree looks so pretty at the top of the stairs and that’s what everyone sees as they enter the front door.  The entry table is the perfect spot to add more Christmas sparkle.

I keep it fairly simple and use things I have around the house.

My large antique mirror has a great spot on top to showcase my Merry Christmas blocks that I found years ago. Draping a vintage tinsel garland adds that special charm to the look.

Stacking books and adding seasonal cheer on top is a fun way to layer this table.  I used brass, black and white and some green accents.

A boxwood wreath with large gold bow on the mirror add to the vignette and I simply brought together all my preserved boxwood pieces to use on the table.

A thriftstore box I painted green adds to the Christmas feel on the table, as well as a little gold and white Santa that holds a votive candle.  Sprinkling some white ornaments and white garland around makes it feel festive.  I also added in my brass candle holders that I found thrifting and those pretty white and gold Italian candlesticks came from an estate sale.

I always add real greens to my tables too which always works this time of year.

I love the mix of the brass, white and green.  The reflection of the tree in the mirror just magnifies the Christmas sparkle in the living room.  It truly is the most wonderful time of the year.  I’ve only got a couple more spaces to share with you and I’m spacing them out this year instead of cramming it all in one tour.

I hope you all are enjoying a peaceful Christmas season! It’s been wonderful for me.  I didn’t commit to so much this year on the blog and it’s really giving me time to enjoy the season and what it truly means.  Spending time with my family and loved ones are at the top of the list and I’m enjoying every week until Christmas gets here!

If you want lots more Christmas inspiration and cheer, stop on over to these talented bloggers!
