Hello friends and happy Friday! My family is coming home soon for Thanksgiving and we will all celebrate together next week. It will be nice to have them all home for a few days. I’ve got some shares today from things I’ve seen around the web and a few other finds too. Most of my Christmas decorating is done, except for my tree. I’ll get that out soon and get it decorated too, but it’s been really cold here this week so we haven’t felt like lugging it outside and around the house. Enjoy my shares today and have a great weekend!
Instagram Inspiration
A beautiful room by Karen Keysar on Instagram. Isn’t this pretty? She’s in Charlottesville, VA and I love her style and feed.
Lance from Parker Kennedy Living is always inspiring with the love of color and patterns. This Shiny Brite collection made me gasp and I love the display!
Recipes
This baked brie appetizer from Jodie. The Design Twins sound delicious and perfect for a Christmas gathering.
I’m still playing around with my air fryer and trying to get the courage to make something in the instant pot I have. I need to get out some recipes that look good and just go for it!
Around the House
Here are a few things I love that help me with Christmas decorating.

I’m getting rid of all my little candles that don’t have remotes or timers and replacing them with these. This set of flickering votives are perfect for my votive holders and turn on with a quick remote tap. They also have timers if you like that option. The batteries are CR2450 which are supposed to burn for 200 hours, so we will see. But those batteries aren’t too expensive if you buy in bulk. The candles come with their own batteries, but I bought extra to have on hand.
This set of 20 batteries was a good price.
These are the beef chews I get for Daisy and she loves, loves them. They keep her busy for awhile.
What We’re Watching
I just watched a good movie over the weekend, Where the Crawdads Sing. I had not read the book, but heard really good things about it and the movie did not disappoint. It was very good! I’ll be watching some Christmas movies soon, so you enjoy those too? Tis the season!

I follow a blog https://www.dadcooksdinner.com/ He has lots of good instant pot recipes. Camellia beans has a most delicious red bean’s IP recipe. I started with water, then hard boiled eggs. Pressure cookers are scary and I was raised with a pressure cooking mama. I used to use a Presto all the time myself.
The first site you showed with table covered with books? I will never understand that look. Marie Kondo needs to come see these people.

I love Karen Kayser’s beautiful IG account too, Rhoda. I’ve followed her for some time and she never disappoints with her sense of style and use of color. Just gorgeous!

My mom had a pressure cooker too and it was scary. Lots of people like the collected look such as that picture. It appeals to me, even though I don’t have stacks around my house.

Was there a link for the flickering candles? I didn’t see one, if there was.
Rhoda says
Thanks for noticing that, I’ve added the link again, I must have forgot that one.

You must read the book….you won’t be able to put it down. Can’t wait to see your Christmas decorations. I will start after Thanksgiving. I am making homemade Pumpkin Pies….many of them…mainly to give away as gifts to my family and friends.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!!

Yes, you must read the book. Excellent!
Do those bully stick have a strong odor? Some of them do.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Rhoda says
They are supposed to be lower odor, but yeah they still do have some.
