Garlands and Wreaths on the Front Porch

I love to have a welcoming front porch and even though I don’t have a big porch, I want to make it festive.  This year I decided to add prelit garland and wreaths around my front door to welcome guests. I’m working with Tree Classics on all my prelit greenery and it worked out great around my door.

It comes in a box, so I fluffed it all out and got it ready to hang.

There are sturdy wires on each end for hanging and securing them wherever you decide to put them.

Using a small nail, I attached each one in the middle of my door frame and had it cascade down on either side.

I secured the sides with another small nail.

Hide the battery box behind the greenery and you’re ready to light up the entry!

I love the simplicity of garland and a prelit wreath.

All that texture and the varied colors of their Fraser Fir Festive garland is just beautiful with my turquoise door, don’t you think?  I kept it very simple and added a bright green burlap bow to the top of the door. I hung the wreath on a clear suction cup wreath hanger that I found at Ace.  They are great for mirrors or glass doors like this and are almost completely hidden.

Here’s a quick shot of the garland and wreath all lit up at night. I love the soft glow it gives.

The Fed X man left something at the door.  Cody says Hi and Merry Christmas!

Hey, Diane, I meant to mention that part. It’s a clear suction cup wreath holder. I found mine at Ace Hardware. Great little invention for mirrors and doors.

Thank you. It must be a strong suction cup. I’ll look for it.

I do prefer when garlands hang all the way to the ground. Perhaps another one will look even better. Have a Merry Christmas.
