{Giveaway is Closed}
One of my long-time friends in the blogworld, Melissa Michaels, who you all probably know already from her beautiful blog, The Inspired Room, has written an e-book. It’s common sense, down to earth ideas on how to keep from getting caught up in the “I wants” and all of the feelings that go along with this online world we live in.
Melissa shares some great ideas from the heart on her e-book and her ideas are worth sharing and reading. From Melissa:
NOT a DIY Diva
In the image-obsessed, try-hard-to-keep-up world we live in, this ebook inspires us to seek authenticity and find beauty and contentment in the home and life we have. Whether you are a DIY genius or not-so-much-one, you’ll find encouragement to live a life that is authentic to YOU.
Melissa is offering 3 free giveaways to my readers, so that you all can enjoy the ideas shared in her new e-book. The winners will receive a free download.
If you want to order Not a DIY Diva, it’s an affordable $3.99 and you can click the button above to go over to Melissa’s site to order it. I’m signed up as an affiliate and if any sales result from this post, I will get a small commission.
All you have to do to win a FREE e-book is leave a comment here, telling me if you are a DIY Diva or not?
You know, I like to think I am, but I don’t want to get caught up in the race of keeping up with everyone else. I go at my own pace!

Sometimes, but I know my limitations. Love Melissa’s site and would love to have the e-book.
I am a DIY diva-junkie!!! (It helps that I have a very handy hubby too though!)
My hubs loves it when I DIY because it usually means saving $$$. But I don”t know about being a DIVA…
I take DIY-ing in spurts. If I can make something that looks custom done and unique, I’m all over it. I go for classic designs that aren’t likely to go out of style – I’d never decorate just because Pantone says tangerine is the color of the moment. I believe quality can be had for a minimum price and a little elbow grease. But I’ve had my share of “systems” to stay organized, and I am constantly looking for a better way to do it.
I would love to be but just don’t have a creative brain:( This past weekend I saw several awesome DIY ideas that I will definitely be doing including sanding down and re-staining my 20 year old kitchen table:) I also will making an outside “chandelier” for my mom with baby food jars, round cooling rack, some wire and chain and candles.(Saw it on pinterest:)
Probably not a Diva 🙂
I like seasonal crafts and am constantly inspired by the blogs and have done a few things myself. My son just got a new house with wife. I hope to help them with DIY projects. They will have to do that because they have no furniture, lamps, or alot of the things that their friends have. It has taken their savings to pay off student loans and save for a down payment. DIY is in their future.
I LOVE starting DIY projects. I’m just not very good at finishing them! 🙂
Not a diva, but still a DIYer!
I am not a diva but a DIY’er! Would love to win this book!
I am trying to learn so I can become a DIY Diva.
Probably not a DIY diva, but I do like to try new projects.
I definitely a wanna be! I have 2 bathrooms that need a complete redo and it will be my hubby and me doing the work! ♥ This would be great to win! Thanks! ♥
Maybe I am a demi-diva!! 🙂
I want to be a DIY Diva…but very much NOT a DIY Diva =)
i am not a DIY Diva, usually do not have the confidence to make something, but i love looking at ideas & envisioning a nice looking home 😉
I just can’t “see” the vision which totally frustrates me but I know what I like when I see it – DIY sewing? you bet. DIY furniture refinish? not so much. But boy do I admire it!
DIY – absolutely!
Diva – nope.
I am just a DIY Diva want to be, but I keep tryin’!!
Yes, I am definitely a DIY DIVA! I have just started a blog myself – nothing really there yet but my daughter and I had the most amazing DIY experience for preparing for her wedding. She is 31 and has her own home so we really don’t see much of each other but doing a DIY wedding made it so we were seeing each other every night and weekend and her friends came to join in to help. I hope to have some of the pictures up on the blog soon. I have been doing it myself for many years (like all my life) because both my parents were. Creating what you really want instead of what the stores tell you to want creates both a true home and amazing memories. Thanks- love your site– off to sand my hard wood floors to prepare to refinish.
