Homer Laughlin Fiesta Dinnerware Giveaway

(Giveaway is Closed)

Last month at the International Home & Housewares Show, the Homer Laughlin China Company launched several new products for its 2010 lineup. A nearly 135-year old company, Homer Laughlin takes such pride that its products are Made in the USA, employing more than 850 people in Newell, WV.

I love supporting Made in the USA companies, so I am happy to do a giveaway for this old and established company.  I have admired Homer Laughlin china patterns in the antique malls for years and love how it wears and wears.  I own a few pieces myself.

They sent me 2 items to use and enjoy for myself and they are giving away one of EACH of these today to 2 of my readers.

First up is this beautiful 75th anniversary piece for 2010, a set of prep or mixing bowl in a vibrant and vivid limited availability color of Marigold. I received my set and it will be a pleasure to use this in my kitchen.

Next, is a the latest place setting of  Fiesta dinnerware in the lovely color of Paprika, a deep burnt orange and the winner will receive a one piece place setting.

I’d  like to know if you own any Fiesta dinnerware?  It’s highly collectible and this company has been around a long time, so chances are you have something in your collection by Homer Laughlin China Company.

Just leave a comment and I’ll draw 2 winners, one for the prep bowl set and one for the place setting.

My age and change in taste have just recently allowed me to become more daring in my choices. I wasn’t a fan of bold colors, but I am now! I think I just wasn’t sure of my choices, so I played it safe. Now I throw caution to the wind! Your blog and many others’ have inspired me. I don’t own any Fiesta ware, but I’m hoping that changes in the near future! Thanks for the giveaway!

I just love the color of the mixing bowls! How fun and festive- could be “springy” in the spring- sunny in the summer and still look great for fall! How fun!

I have a few old pieces of Fiesta I inherited and my everyday dishes are Fiesta in black and cinnabar. The marigold would be lovely with my colors and I have nothing like the mixing bowls.

China is my thing. If I had the $$ to buy it and room to store it, I’d buy new china all the time! So I’ll keep my fingers crossed on this one because I don’t own any Fiestaware yet and would love one more way to change it up on my table!

Oh!! I was sent over by Marie! I am a HUGE Fiestaware fan! I have only new pieces but my colors are mostly retired as I have had them over 10 years. The bowls are to die for!! I am a bowl freak too!! I am so excited to find your spot! I am off to explore!!
    Hugs, Lisa

Thanks Rhonda for your inspiring blog that I’ve been reading for a bout 2 years I think. I’m still going to try and frame out my bathroom mirrors with the help of your tutorial. Love the bowls too. Happy day wishes.
