Saturated Color $50 Giveaway!

{Giveaway is Closed!}

Do old vintage maps make your heart race (in a good way, of course)?  Do you love old book plates of flowers, shells, and fruits? Then, you will love the giveaway today!  Saturated Color is my newest sponsor and she has a wonderful Etsy shop FULL of gorgeous vintage reproductions of old book plates.  Perfect for adding to your walls, these prints can be simply framed and will make a huge impact on your walls. Maps are so cool and she has a bunch of maps, from states in the US to exotic European locals like France and Italy, two of my fave destinations. How cute are these vintage alphabet prints?  She has you covered from A to Z! I had to share Georgia with you, near and dear to MY heart! Lovely butterflies in lots of different prints. There’s a map of Paris! Several vintage bird prints. Ahhh, Italy! Vintage fruits and flowers have always been dear to me too. And seashells, don’t get me started on shells. How beautiful is this orchid print? So, you can see that there is no shortage of beautiful and inspiring prints to choose from at Saturated Color.  To win a $50 gift certificate, hop on over and tell me what your fave print might be.  With that much to spend, you can get several! She is very reasonable and for a little money and some thrifty framing, you can have yourself a wall of beauty in no time.

  1. Leave a comment telling me your fave prints!
  2. Also, Like Saturated Color on Facebook and come back here to comment on that too for an extra chance at winning!

That’s it! I’ll pick a winner in a few days and announce it on the blog.

    There are so many prints to choose from, but I think I would choose a map of Africa as my husband is going to Kenya on a mission trip in December and also because we have sponsored a Compassion child from Rwanda for the last 10 years. Africa is near and dear to our hearts. I would gift this to my husband to hang in his office. He would just love that!

    I really like the 1910 Spiney crab picture and the 1930 small united states map. There are so many beautiful pictures, it would be hard to only pick a couple.

    I LOVE the illustrations from Charles Kingsley’s “The Water Babies.” I read and wrote a paper on this book in college and fell in love with it, and it’s hard to find good illustrations that accompany it. I also love the children’s prints from different nations. As a teacher, I would use these in my classroom. I like the European maps, and the state flash cards have a fun retro feel. It would be so hard to choose, I’m sure I’d supplement the giveaway credit amount!
