{Giveaway is Closed}
I recently had the opportunity to try out a free Simple Fit Shade for my home and would love to share it with you too. I chose a window in my downstairs guestroom for the shade and measure the width for an accurate fit. The length of these shades is 72″.
Here’s my window waiting for the new shade. I took down the old metal blinds that were up when we bought the house, since I had never replaced them.
These shades are SO easy to install. Truly the easiest installation I’ve ever seen.
Once you order the correct width, the shade comes with tape adhesive on each end which is peeled off when ready to install.
You can see the blackout portion of the shade on the right. Once both sides are peeled off and the tape is exposed, you just put the shade in place and press a little button which then “snaps” the shade right into place on each side. So EASY!
It’s very lightweight and moves up and down at just the slightest tug.
Now, for the giveaway!
Prices range from $99 to $254 (depending on the width you choose) and ONE of you will get to try out a Simple Fit shade for yourself.
Just click over to Simple Fit and tell me which one you would choose. There are 4 to choose from, Snow or Cream and you can add the blackout or non-blackout. In hindsight, I should have gotten the Snow instead of Cream, but I’m happy with the shade nonetheless. It will stay up most of the time, until someone sleeps in this room and needs to block out the light.
Leave a comment and I’ll pick ONE winner to try out a shade for yourself! The giveaway will close on Monday night.

We just bought a new home and I have the perfect spot for one also!!! I would love it!!!
I have a spot that is begging for a blind. I’m liking the ease of installation of these.
Hey, these look great, Rhoda! I’ve never seen an installation like that either. Very cool. I’m in love with cordless shades, too. I have JUST the spot for one of these in my upstairs hall, so I thought I’d join in the contest! 🙂
We just redid our downstairs guest half bath, but are still badly in need of a new shade for the window. The cream shade in blackout would be just the perfect finishing touch for the room!
I’d love to get one of these for a window in our “new” 111 year old house! Love the cordless shades!
Wow…easy installation, how great is that ! I would choose the black-0ut shade in snow. I have a guest room where the sun is so bright early in the morning, even with blinds. When my daughter visits, she hangs a blanket over the blind to block out the morning sun. This would be a perfect solution. How nice of you to have such a great give-away! And I must tell you, I love the black/white curtains in your guest room. Would you mind sharing where you got them?
Marcia, those drapes came from Target online. I think they still have them.
Would love to try out the shade. I have the perfect spot in my guest room also.
I’ve got the perfect spot at the top of my stairs…I’d choose “snow” in the “blackout” version (would that translate “blizzard”?) 🙂 Thanks for spotlighting this product!
I would choose the cellular in the snow color.
Hi Rhoda…these shades are great and so easy to install. I really like the light filtering snow blind. Thanks for the chance to win.
I love the ease of the installation! How easy was that?

What a beautiful shade.
I would love to have one of the cordless shades for our bathroom that we are in the process of remodeling.
I could put one on every window in my house! I think I would choose the cellular snow shades.
Would love one for my bedroom. I have to sleep with it pitch dark so this would be great so I wouldn’t have to pull my curtains closed.
I’d love to try the blackout shade for my bedroom. It’s hard to sleep in when the sun is shining so brightly through the curtains.
I would love to try this out in my daughter’s room-she gets the most light in there! Thanks for hosting this!
I have just the spot too. We have a 3/4 bath on the first floor, with a laundry closet too. It isn’t used a lot for “private” activities, and its one small window faces out into the very private backyard. But eeeevery so often when we have guests, they might excuse themselves to the powder room, and I always worry that even with noone in the backyard, they may feel “exposed” and wish to pull a shade. It is a small window and I love the natural light, so all it has now is a valance, which would hide a raised shade very nicely….
Blackout in snow for me! =)
I have several rooms that could use the blackout shade in snow. Even with shutters, we need more light control in the bedrooms.
